A bit of a shame, because I really think the place should keep some kind of standard - just not for our visit. 35 for a bun with cheese is on the high end when you're completely out of town and the level is so high for micro bakeries. The hard consistency of the butter smashed the bun, uneven layer and then the cheese was over day old - in that dry way when it's been out for too long. We'll come again - but this was a letdown.

Excellent little local artisan bakery

I bought a buttered artisan and it tasted great, but it cost 30 kr, which I thought was a bit expensive.

Just came across this place by chance. Super friendly guy working here and the bread and cinnamon rolls look amazing.

Quite a nice outlying bakery. Neither good nor bad. Worth a visit if you are in the area, but you don't have to drive for it.

The best cardamom snail in all of Aarhus and Denmark! You can see the craftsmanship and love that goes into it. Very nice owner! We'll be back :)

Just went here and got some breads to try. Really amazing taste and friendly owner! Would recommend.

Fantastic bakery! Delicious baked goods made on-site (you can even watch them being baked). We've tried a few bakeries in Denmark, including the Instagram-hyped one in Copenhagen. But this one is the best. Definitely a try. (They also accept card payments these days.)

Just want to give the new owner Frederik a few good words here and a huge recommendation to others who like delicious breakfast bread. Stopped by on Saturday and bought a large sourdough bread and two snails - one with cream cheese frosting and one with vanilla cream. The bread was fresh, delicious and still warm - the snails in a generous size and just really delicious. The cream cheese frosting was a sure winner, but the one with vanilla cream was also spitze and several classes above the bland cream you often find at other bakeries.
