Delicious food and good service and atmosphere

Love going there... But here in July the staff seems pretty tired from their jobs. The food is just a little above average. But the beers are cold, the selection of schnapps is great, so summer is a little more pleasant in Tivoli's ditch.

We tried a dish that had a bit of different foods from Denmark and I was surprised, by the positive, with the dishes that wher a bit different, like the fish, and the salad, it was very nice, you can feel the vinegar in the fish, I believe it is a traditional food that they have, almost like in pickle, the pork was not that good, it was bland, no seasoning at all. The atmosphere was nice because,let's be honest, it's inside Tivoli so of course the atmosphere is going to be awesome If you want to try, like I did, traditional food in and your enjoying the Tivoli it's a good place but I believe that around the city you'll find better places for the food experience

This restaurant is quite expensive but the servings are large and delicious. We wanted to have an authentic Danish meal so decided to have lunch here during our Tivoli visit. Service was quick and there is an enormous choice of Smorrebrod and other dishes. A really nice atmosphere. Nice decor and good toilets.

We all 6 people had a lovely lunch and a nice service from Trine, who should get 5 stars. We thanked her for another lovely experience and the young people in the party chose to take a quick walk around Tivoli while the older and less able bodied people chose to sit outside in front of the moat and wanted to order 2 cold beers while waiting. The service here was unreasonably bad, the waiter stated that it was only for Grøftens dining guests, to which we of course stated that we had just had lunch in the courtyard, (and paid DKK 4000) the waiter replied rudely, they could be there for 2 beers for a maximum of 20 minutes. There were also plenty of empty tables, as you would of course have understanding and if you had been spoken to in a proper tone. After a quick round I return to the table outside Grøften and wanted to take a chair and wait for the rest of the party, here the waiter came roaring and almost pulled the chair away from me and said angrily and very firmly that I could NOT do that... We therefore chose to drink quickly and find a bench in the garden. The lunch and Waitress Trine were a success, the last part was lousy service and a bad experience

Good food and good atmosphere, definitely worth a visit. 6

Got schnitzel lovely tender and lovely potatoes. But nothing special. My partner skipperlabskovs, which they are known for, far from impressive. But good attentive and fast service. A bit noisy environment. However cozy not much space. Very nice toilets and smoking area at the cafe.
