Super cozy place, friendly and competent staff, super delicious food and at a reasonable price! Highly recommended but remember to book a table!

I really liked this French bistro-style place. It's really elegant and lively, and it's open late, which isn't a given in Copenhagen. The food is excellent.

I ate at Grimal with a friend for the first time this spring, and it is now our absolute favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. Really good food and the staff were so nice and attentive. We are SO looking forward to going again.

So this is difficult. I believe a restaurant owned also by the folks behind Frank (which I've also been to and loved). We went last eve for drinks and dinner. Food was great in the form of snacks and starters. The mains were nice but I dunno, maybe having done Frank, was perhaps expecting a little more? We were served by a super lady however general feel when we entered was a bit chaotic and we had to keep asking for more drinks and/or water topped up. Not a bad review. It was a perfectly nice evening, but just something missing.

For the price – good food with wine. You can find Grimal on Istedgade. We came on a Monday evening without a reservation and got a table for two without any problems. We were quickly served by the first of the three waiters who came to our table. As a small starter we ordered the French oysters. Right off the road – delicious. We ordered the 3-course menu with accompanying wine menu. 285 kroner for the food menu and 285 for the wine menu. The price is nothing to complain about in Copenhagen – quite the opposite. Price and quality go hand in hand at Grimal, and you get an excellent meal with wine – without it being flashy. A suitable meal for a completely ordinary Monday.
