Grimal København

I have been to Grimal about 10-12x now even though I live across town. I always sit at the bar or at the one table for 4 near the bar. Delicious non fussy food, charming service and atmosphere. What isn't to like?

Delicious food - the associated waiters did not know about wine and slightly counted the food down in relation to quantity. But there was plenty of food and the wine list is large and varied - so if you know what you want there are no problems. The waiters were nice and helpful... However, I would like to see some kind of uniform used so that you can recognize the staff from the guests and those walking on the street ;)

Very nice atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor. As it is on a busy street it can be quite noisy outside but enjoyable if the weather is nice. We decided to sit inside as it was quite windy and it was very cozy. We ordered à la carte, two snacks and a starter to share, one main each and a dessert. Both the turbot and the poussin were perfectly cooked and with a great sauce. Both desserts were light and fresh. Overall, really good experience.

High quality French bistro style food. Great snacks and entrées but a bit slimmer mains selection. Unfortunately kitchen service was very slow (took 50 min for our snacks to arrive)

Great food and wine. And really nice service. We would love to come again!

We ate a 3 snacks + 3 course menu at Grimal. It was some of the best food we have tried in Copenhagen for a long time. Very tasty, innovative and delicious ingredients. The service and the atmosphere of the restaurant were also top notch!

Overall, Grimal was an OK experience. The food tasted good, the service was fine, etc., but the price is on the expensive side, taken e.g. considering the size of the main courses. DKK 280 for two very small pieces of (tasty) turbot with side dishes is almost outrageous.

Top class French in the upper part of the middle segment. Taste, edge and safe processing.
