Guldsmeden Hotels København

The hotel was great. The breakfast was amazing. Service excellent. Very friendly people. Our only disappointment was the level of street noise in the night. We were in the second building across the courtyard. We think there is a student dorm across the street from the hotel. Young people would gather nightly and it would be noisy. Sometimes very late. It you book, insure that you are have a courtyard facing room. Or bring earplugs if you fac the street. The hotel cannot be faulted for street noise, as this is a popular area in a big city.

We had a very lovely stay. Pretty and clean room. Smiling and very serviceminded staff. We were just a tad sad, that it was so busy, that we couldn’t go to the spa as we had paid for.

We loved our stay at Axel Guldsmeden. We enjoyed the comfortable room and well-cleaned bathroom and eco-friendly bath products. The hotel is located in a very walkable area of Copenhagen and is equipped with beautiful public indoor and outdoor spaces.

For such a nice hotel, the only thing that is extra nice are the rooms. The breakfast is nothing special and the top floor with pool can only be used if you pay extra. No AC either and not a special hotel. Being centrally located is a plus.

Very cozy hotel - with great breakfast that can be enjoyed in a quiet garden (weather allowing). Comfy rooms with great shower products, and super friendly staff, excellent location, 5 min walks to the central station. My only wish would be that the spa was open for more hours - as during my short stay it was not possible to visit.

Great stay! Everything from the staff to the cleanliness of the room was perfect. We also love the ecofriendliness of the hotel. It’s right near the train station as well which was very helpful. Will absolutely stay again!
