Hallernes Smørrebrød København

Very nice choice of danish "smørbrød" ,tasty and reasonable price, friendly service. Sitting area was clean and goos place, but was not 100% family friendly as there were no child chairs.

We were looking for a place to try the famous Danish smørrebrød and ended up at Magasin du Nord, where we found Hallernes Smørrebrød. Excellent product, top quality. Wide selection for all tastes. Fair prices, consistent with Copenhagen standards. An excellent experience, highly recommended. Inside the department store, there are two stores: a small one on the basement level and a larger one, where we went, on the fifth floor.

An unfortunately dry experience and quite disappointing compared to the many other pork roast sandwiches Copenhagen has to offer. Too salty crust that was more hard than crispy. Ouch. Yes, I love pork roast and go around and try the different places. And here there is an extremely high level of noise from industrial machines, service being handled for washing up and of course many people on this floor. Definitely not worth the price. Nice service despite being busy with many tourists. Nice view over Kongens Nytorv 🫶

We ate at the restaurant located inside the shopping mall. It was our first time trying it, so we don't have anything to compare it with. Overall, though, the food was tasty.

True traditional Smørrebrød, lovely helpful staff, highly recommending the one with shrimp.

The smørrebrøds are excellent, like all Hallernes. But for this kind of place and prices you expect the tables to be clean. It is for 2 times I go there and even without being busy all the tables are with rests of food or dirty. The attention in Torvehallerne is much better also.

This place is located on the -1st floor of the Magasin De North shopping center. We tried Smorre Brod here on our first day in Copenhagen. It was delicious, we liked it. The bread, in particular, is fantastic. It's served with traditional Danish whole grain bread. The ordering and service process was smooth. The place is small, but it has seating. The service was excellent.
