Cozy place, and good food. Some of the sharing menu sizes were disappointing however, especially the dessert which was one single piece of cake for sharing - you can see our destructive attempt at splitting it evenly in two thin slices with our butter knife. Additionally, service was too "attentive", removing plates that we were still eating from more than once. It was as if they were rushing to get us out, even though there was plenty of space for other customers..

Really nice restaurant in Østerbro with delicious tapas dishes and a good selection of wine and cocktails. The staff is very sweet and service-minded, and the atmosphere inside is relaxed and cozy. Perfect place to go on the weekend with friends or family. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful place. However, be prepared that the acoustics are a bit bad. Could barely hold a normal conversation. When you book a table, make sure it's not right next to the open kitchen but in one of the adjacent "living rooms". Otherwise, great food and very nice and attentive waiters🌸🩷

Awesome place, especially on Fridays, when the atmosphere really lifts. The food is fresh, delicious and full of flavor, and the drinks definitely hit a solid 10/10. Stepping in here feels like stepping into your grandparents' living room, such a special vintage vibe, where everything is warm, safe and authentic. You can feel the community in the room, a mix of local regulars and curious tourists, all naturally falling into the same cozy atmosphere. The staff is quick, attentive and makes you feel at home right away. All in all, it has become my new go-to spot in Copenhagen. 😍

The coziest place in Østerbro. Very good atmosphere with top service. You feel like you've come home, and the food is really good. Highly recommended

I have been there quite a few times now. I have had really pleasant experiences every time. The last time I was there was with a friend. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and kept coming by to make sure we didn't need anything. The food was lovely, we had the chicken salad, the pate, the medister, the fish and the fresh prawns and it just tasted great. Both wine and drinks were at really good prices. My favourite drink was definitely the bat (it has probably become my new favourite cocktail. The noise level was excellent, so you could easily talk. The old-fashioned decor created a cosy, homely atmosphere. All in all a first-class experience. highly recommended.

Visited in October 2025. We had the 8 course menu, which included focaccia and 4 starters, a main with a meat and a veggie dish, and a basque cheesecake for dessert. The food was tasty and interesting - even simple dishes that are rather common had a nice twist. We also got an affogato for dessert, in addition to the menu, because I had heard good things about it - and I did really like it, mainly because of the caramel and salt crystals. The drinks options were okay and reasonably priced. Service was nice and friendly and the place looks nice. Oh, and there was an adorable little doggy around! Overall, I can recommend the place and I would come back to try more dishes, especially if the menu changes :)

Hans Christian's: A Charming Culinary Gem in Copenhagen We liked the inviting atmosphere with a classic feel. The menu offers a great selection from smaller bites to main courses. We loved the creative variety, including options like hummus with chili, gyozas with pistachio cream, and gravad fillet with tuna cream. The dishes were all flavorful and well-prepared.

Hans Christian's is a real find in Copenhagen. The food is thoughtful and full of flavor — the hummus with spiced oil and bread was a highlight, and the chicken salad was another favorite, fresh and full of taste. Everything looked beautiful on the table, clearly made with care, and you can really see the passion of the cook in each dish. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir that paired nicely with the meal. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual but special evening.

The atmosphere only gets a 4 as we were the only visitors. But we also arrived at 5pm on a Thursday. Insanely delicious food and service. All dishes were extremely tasty, which I usually only experience in expensive restaurants
