Have been there before. This time we had a deal/special. Before and now prices should be taken with a grain of salt...you get 10 servings and if you order 10 dishes from the menu the quantity would correspond to what we were served for 2 people. But if we add up the prices it corresponds to the offer we paid for 2. So really no savings. We also ordered a bottle of wine and tap water..tap water for 2 totaling 140 kr. When I mentioned that I had never paid that for water before. (It is also not clear from the menu what tap water costs.) I was told by the waiter that it was because I had a deal/special. Said that I was surprised and then the owner came, I think it is, and said that it was of course a mistake and was given 100 kr in my hand. Is a nice place, but will not come again after this experience.

Was there on a deal. Everything was fine, but nothing was wow. The waitress said we just had to ask if we wanted more bread. She forgot to say it would cost extra though..

"Hans Christians" is truly a little gem in Østerbro (close to Trianglen). Beautiful nostalgic setting in the old Østerbro store. And the food was first class!!! Fresh and so full of flavor!!! We had 9 small servings, all of which were a VERY nice experience!!! A regular cabbage had a twist that lifted it to the skies!!! And their hummus I have never tasted better!!! The service was top notch!!! Attentive waiters who explained the ingredients in the different dishes. It was a first class experience!!! We will definitely be back!!!

The impressions of beautiful Copenhagen have just settled. We came to this restaurant for a relaxed anniversary dinner, and I must admit we were absolutely thrilled. ​From the very beginning, we knew we wanted something completely new and decided to put ourselves entirely in the hands of the head chef. A brilliant cocktail to start, followed by dishes that are yet to be introduced to the new menu. We felt truly honored and happy. The entire ambiance, right from the moment we walked in, along with the very polished and attentive waiters, made it clear just how much passion and love comes out of this kitchen. ​We wanted to try something typical yet sophisticated, paired with good wines. Guys, you absolutely smashed it! 🤙 ​The fish, the meat, the spices, and the way they use them, all perfectly paired with the wines (which is no easy task) + the potato (the head chef will understand this one) was spectacular. Elegance, vision, a love for cooking, and hospitality are what everyone wishes for, and that is exactly what we experienced at your place. Thank you so much, we are definitely coming back! The food in there was so delicious and the service was also very good, but for some reason they allowed 2 groups of guests to bring their dogs inside - so it was really annoying when one dog, or both of them, started barking...

Really really nice place with good service

I have been there quite a few times now. I have had really pleasant experiences every time. The last time I was there was with a friend. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and kept coming by to make sure we didn't need anything. The food was lovely, we had the chicken salad, the pate, the medister, the fish and the fresh prawns and it just tasted great. Both wine and drinks were at really good prices. My favourite drink was definitely the bat (it has probably become my new favourite cocktail. The noise level was excellent, so you could easily talk. The old-fashioned decor created a cosy, homely atmosphere. All in all a first-class experience. highly recommended.
