I have been visiting the restaurant since I was a boy, and that makes the experience a little more personal. Over the years, the place has gone through several changes with different owners and concepts, but one thing has always made me come back – the fantastic location and the good food experiences. Kalvø is a truly unique place. The combination of the fjord, the harbor environment and the calm atmosphere creates a fantastic setting for lunch, dinner or a cozy cup of coffee. Regardless of the season, the view is an experience in itself, and it is a place where you automatically slow down and enjoy the moment. The food deserves high praise. The dishes are tasty, beautifully presented and made from good ingredients. You can feel that the kitchen is committed to quality, and this is reflected in both the taste and presentation. Regardless of whether you choose fish, meat or a lighter dish, you will get a meal that has been prepared with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming and makes you feel welcome. The good service helps to complete the experience, and it is clear that an effort is made to ensure that guests have a good visit. I am pleased to see that Restaurant Kalvø continues to be a place where quality and good experiences are in focus. Although the restaurant has changed over the years, it is still a place I want to visit and which I am happy to recommend to others. If you are looking for good food, cozy surroundings and one of the area's most beautiful views, then Restaurant Kalvø is definitely worth a visit. It is a place where nature, atmosphere and tasty food come together in a higher unity. 5 out of 5 well-deserved stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
