The food was ok but nothing special. The same applies to the operation.

Arrived from a long drive and needed a nice place to eat that accepts dogs. Sat outside with a lovely bottle of Sancerre and their ten course sharing plates. Service was impeccable. Food astounding. Completely unexpected for a late Sunday dinner. Highly recommend.

Interesting flavor combination in very cozy surroundings

In general the food was tasty, and so was the cocktails. I felt the Pad Kra Pao was a little bland, which surprised me. Specially because it was made with some whole fried chilli's which were burning hot. We tried a few different cocktails, and except for the vermouth cocktail, they were all quite sweet. I would describe them as dessert cocktails. The green one did have a bit of a kick to it, and they were all tasty, but if you want something like an old fashioned, it is not on the menu.

I liked it. Memories of a past life (for me) on the street it is on.

We ate at Hanzo Frederiksberg for New Year's. The service we received, leading up to the evening itself, was a bit frustrating. We had originally booked for 3 at Vesterbro, but found out we had one more child a few weeks before, so I called to see if it was possible to book for one more. It was absolutely out of the question because waiting lists etc. I then had to cancel my order. I then found out the next day that we could have gotten a table for 4 anyway! That's why I can't rate the service higher, even if it wasn't this restaurant's fault. However, it unfortunately counts for little in the overall picture. However, we chose to book at Frederiksberg instead, and I'm glad we did. It was a really nice evening with good food and good service, and it was a nice first experience in relation to to go out to eat for New Years. The food came at a good pace and tasted great, and there were plenty of drinks. We were served by a nervous young man who just did it so well despite his nerves. Cozy small restaurant with a nice location. I would gladly do it again another time.

We got the 10 plates menu. It was an amazing experience. We are definately be going again!
