Housed in a converted warehouse, the cafe’s decor is minimal yet stylish, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately sets a relaxed, Scandinavian tone. Hart Bageri’s reputation for quality is well deserved, especially when it comes to their incredible selection of baked goods. Their bread is renowned, and you can’t leave without trying the cardamom croissant, cinnamon roll, or the classic Danish Spandauer. Each pastry is crafted with care and artistry, thanks to a pastry chef with experience from Noma, bringing a touch of gourmet finesse to every bite. While the prices for pastries and coffee are on the higher side, as one might expect in a Scandinavian country, the quality and ambiance make it worthwhile. The vibe is tranquil and cozy, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savor some of the best pastries around.

Really good vanilla spandauer and "croissant" with apple

Very tasty coffee and excellent tebirkes and spandauer. We liked the neighborhood, it was quite cool.

Even though it is not perfect, (it seems like the staff don't think of cleaning the tables after guests leave), this is one of my favorite places in copenhagen to go for breakfast. My usual order is a plain bun with butter and cheese, a cardamom croissant, and a flat white. It is amazing. And the coffee here is way better made than at their location in Kødbyen.
