Hart Bakery Holmen København

I found it by chance while out for a walk. And it was fantastic! Despite the cold, I enjoyed a cappuccino outside in the bright sunshine, along with an absolutely delicious puff pastry tart with cardamom. Simply heavenly.

I visited this coffee shop 3 times, and each time I told myself it would be better and the customer service nicer (lol?) I tried pain au chocolate, cardamom croissant, cheescake and cappuccino. Coffee was okay, lil bit sour tho. The pain au chocolate was truly dryyyyy and cardamom croissant was flavorless. But my biggest issue is the customer service, the barista who served my coffee today totally didnt want to be there (auch), no eye contact, and slammed the coffee in front of me. I don't care about the small stuff like - no cappuccino saucers/little plates available or the atmosphere and such (that's likely personal preference for hospitality or style), but the barista's upset attitude is an issue for me. I'll choose Buka or Mormors next time.

The chocolate chestnut cake is delicious the cake base's texture is moist but a bit like very dense bread. The chestnut topping is lovely. Even the birds are attracted. Not enough indoor seats in the winter, although my coat is windproof enough for me to sit outdoor and it was a glorious day, it would be nice to have more seats.

The bread is delicious; every kind tastes great.

OMG, so good. We are coming back tomorrow to finish the job.

I bought a whole cheesecake, and the staff were very kind and attentive, even taking care to pack it nicely for me.

The cardamom croissant is fantastic!

A small but excellent bakery near the Opera House. Great coffee and delicious pastries. Definitely try the rhubarb lemonade, the best in all of Copenhagen.

The prices are what they are for Copenhagen, but the pain au chocolat is excellent with an incredible view. Definitely worth a visit.
