Havfruen København

We had a quick lunch in the restaurant. It is at a great location with stunning view if sitting outside. We sat inside due to the windy weather. It was cosy and well decorated inside. Friendly and nice staff. We had traditional Danish open sandwiches and chips. The herrings and shrimps were cold and fresh. The chips tasted amazing. And it was kids-friendly. The only minor issue is that we were charged 15Krone for a jar of hot water, which made us feel a bit disappointed, as never been charged for drinking hot water. Overall, it is definitely a great restaurant. Recommend!

Excellent restaurant on the Copenhagen canal.

Well located restaurant, the waitress was very friendly, attentive and responsive. We ate a seafood platter facing the canal

Ive enten here many times the food is really good although I have had langoustine That was overcooked and mushy. This time I had lunch with 3 tiny oyster, fried calamari rings and 12 shrimp with 2 glass of wine for nearly kr. 700,- that is not exactly reasonably priced. But I think if you choose more wisely you get better value for your money. the service is great and the whole scenery in Newhaven is lovely.

The food was overpriced and overcooked. Portion size was underwhelming. The service was very slow, but it was a busy night.

The restaurant benefits from its location, in a tourist area. Although food was OK, I believe that, in terms of quality/cost, there are better places.

Extremely friendly service and a different menu (much more seafood) than the other bistros in Nyhavn. Good price/quality and that is not the case everywhere in Copenhagen. Highly recommended!!
