Helnan Phønix Hotel Aalborg

Was here for a wedding where we were also sleeping. Rooms was nice and clean. But a bit expensive I would say.

We arrived 1 1/2 hours before normal arrival, and actually wanted to go for a walk before checking in. The receptionist just wanted to move us to another room that was available so we could check in right away, great service. A nice large room on the 5th floor. We stayed 2 nights, but were still surprised that they came and made the beds after 1 night. The breakfast buffet was very delicious with freshly baked bread, lovely cheeses and cold meats, scrambled eggs/bacon/sausages and fresh fruit etc. as well as juice and coffee. On the day of the return trip, we wanted to buy a pot of coffee, but we got it for free. Super centrally located - almost Luge opposite Budolfi Church and the old town, walking distance to the Zoo and harbour

Lots of good experiences. Jomfru Ane street is so distinctive and cosy. Ate at the "Lille Bette Kro", can only be recommended. Even though it's called little Bette, it's big. Music quiet and good. The food was so good. Steak with home-pickled beetroot, new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and the most delicious sauce. The service was top notch.

My husband and I have visited the hotel many times and we have always been happy with the hotel. We have previously taken advantage of the fact that there was a hot tub at the hotel and would also have liked to have used it on our last stay. Unfortunately it has been discontinued.

Nice and cozy affordable hotel, good breakfast and service. Got one of the rooms on the opposite end of the hotel so had to walk a bit to get to my room. Toilet was very easily clogged and floor got completely wet after a shower. The service and location were top notch though.

Tired old hotel but perfectly ok with a good breakfast 👍🏻 However, no guarantee that you will get a parking space in the courtyard, we had to stand a couple of blocks away with our car.
