Delicious food and impressive service

Here is a beautiful, positive and realistic review in Danish (typical 4.8–5 star style, as you see on Google or Tripadvisor for a really good restaurant in Denmark, e.g. in Copenhagen). I have made it about a fictional but typically highly ranked restaurant with a Nordic gourmet touch. 5 out of 5 stars – An unforgettable evening! We celebrated our anniversary here yesterday, and it was nothing short of magical from start to finish. Right from the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm, personal service – the waiter remembered our booking and names, and we were given a cozy seat by the window overlooking the canal. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed: soft lighting, beautiful flowers and a discreet buzz of happy guests. The menu is a pure pleasure for the senses. We chose the tasting menu with wine menu – and wow, what a journey! Each course was beautifully composed with the best seasonal ingredients: fresh lobster with pickled herbs and a light foam, then a perfectly grilled cod with Jerusalem artichokes and browned butter, and for dessert a chocolate variation with sea buckthorn that just exploded in the mouth. Everything was balanced, refined and with that special Danish "less is more" elegance. The wines were spot on – the sommelier guided us brilliantly through the pairings, and several glasses were truly memorable. The price is of course on the high end (but it's totally worth it for a special occasion), and the service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, with a smile and little stories about the dishes. If you're looking for a place that elevates an evening to something truly special, this is definitely one of the best in Copenhagen. We'll definitely be back – next time with friends! Lieffroy is always worth a visit if you want an evening with a very high level of gastronomy and good service. We have been there several times, they never disappoint. Really fantastic if you are looking for a good experience with delicious food.

This was our lunch stop driving to Legoland Billund. Such an unexpected hidden gem for a restaurant! ❤️ We were warmly welcomed to the restaurant after getting a slot on the waitlist. Helle kindly showed us to our table and basically was the start of our 5-star dining experience. Service was warm and friendly, the staff explained the techniques as ingredients for each dish. We did not feel like having a heavy lunch due to the long drive, and they kindly allowed the party to order ala carte instead of everyone having one set lunch. Our top dish was the duck liver and the Christmas dessert. All prepared to perfection. Chef Patrick even came out of his kitchen at the end of our meal, and it just made the lunch more special meeting the person that orchestrated the food! Not sure if we’d have the chance to return but definitely won’t be forgetting this meal and restaurant! Big thanks to Helle, Patrick and team again! And wishing you a very Merry Christmas! 🎄

Lunch with a full gourmet experience. The food was top notch. Tasted great with innovative thinking and elegant serving where the tweezers have definitely been used. Service with a few minor things like a long wait to order the food, some of the waiters can't order wine from and the coffee was started before we had finished dessert so you got the feeling that they were rushing things so they could get us out the door. Overall a really nice experience.

Fantastic place with good waiters who manage to create a good atmosphere and who are good at telling stories about both food and wine. Nice restaurant and view of the Great Belt. This really sets a good frame when you want to spoil each other. Delicious food that ties the whole place together. Skillfully and well-thought-out dishes that taste different and where thought has been given to texture, variation and flavor nuances. The only thing I think is that it was a bit too sweet when we got 2 desserts in one and 3 sweet snacks for coffee. Personally, I would have preferred a little more on the plate of the main course.
