Hesselhuset Nyborg

We have eaten in many good places in Denmark and I have been thinking about visiting this restaurant for several years so I was really keen on a good experience .... Really lovely surroundings beautiful view okay food seems to stumble a bit sometimes and disappoint especially when you think about what you give for it the service is really good I don't understand why instead of 4.8 on average when you think about what it costs it must also be really really really good. We got a gourmet menu paid 5200, waited a while to pay and felt we have had much better food and experience in several places on Funen 😉 Normally when we give this price we have wow experiences all the time and a super wine menu you can't say we got that here...

Lovely lunch and nice service during the meal. A small point of attention to the restaurant is the ending - when the bill was settled, there was no one to say goodbye or thank you for today.

Super delicious food, served by very polite staff, who seem very dedicated to their job. If you have special needs, allergens, the staff/chefs do everything to adapt the dishes perfectly. A super experience that you look forward to. Thank you for a delicious overall experience.🥰

This restaurant simply deserves a detailed review because wow, a fantastic gem! If you think gourmet is just food, then this place must take it to the next step! We came in by chance with our two children, aged 2.5 years and 4 months respectively, and I have never experienced such a fantastic approach to our daughter in particular (the eldest), our son was in a baby carrier and slept most of the time. I don't even know where to start, but let's just say the food was absolutely fantastic, a wonderful experience, inspiring, satisfying, unique. A huge must try! Our daughter was spoiled from the moment we arrived until we left! A completely different thing is the decor - I noticed something that spoke to me in particular - such simple decor but so unique, cozy and incredibly soulful, not too many things but a few with details! Absolutely beautiful view, the place seems filled with human warmth, good energy among the staff, the service is indescribable and I am impressed that you can come with your children and have such a professional and at the same time so warm-hearted experience. I just have to say - huge recommendation from here! Thank you for a wonderful experience where all senses are happily satisfied!

It was fantastic! The food was excellent and the wine matched perfectly. Really good service and atmosphere.

Denmark's best French restaurant in tough competition with Restaurant Calma. The food is packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Attentive and competent service. Fantastic view of the Great Belt. Should have 3 Michelin because it is worth a detour. The picture shows Denmark's best prepared turbot.

Really nice place to come. There is nothing to come for

Super experience, very polite service, the food was beautifully prepared, lovely calm atmosphere, in a very beautiful setting with a fantastic view in lovely sunny weather. Thank you for a good experience..🥰

Dear team Lieffroy, Charlotte and I had a very great and wonderful experience for lunch today. It is rare that we are truly so excited. Fantastically beautiful and tasty menu in the finest sensory balance throughout all the dishes. We were met by the perfect host, not just good service, but a host to bravura. This beautiful, carefully renovated restaurant with a completely unique location is worth a huge recommendation. Gastronomic thanks from Charlotte and Per

A gem by the water in Nyborg! Great dining experience. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was down to earth and very knowledgeable. Both the juice menu and wine menu were perfect for the accompanying dishes. Will definitely be back.
