The food was really delicious and we were very impressed overall. We had the three-course menu for €93 per person. My morel starter was very tasty, as was the brisket with new potatoes, corn, vegetables, and a rich gravy. I also particularly enjoyed the cheese selection at the end. However, we found the portion sizes to be quite small. Of course, we understand that individual portions are smaller in a multi-course meal. Nevertheless, we weren't actually full after three courses. At this price point, I would have expected a bit more. The cocktails also didn't quite live up to my personal taste, although that's obviously very subjective. What really marred our visit, though, was the service. For a three-course meal at €93, I expect not only good food but also attentive and professional service. Two of the three servers were friendly and pleasant, but overall, they were rather inattentive. For example, after we received our drinks, we weren't asked once if we wanted anything else. Even during the meal, no one asked if everything was alright or if we were enjoying our food. Used dishes were sometimes left on the table for a very long time. We were particularly disappointed by the third server we encountered, who was extremely unfriendly and unapproachable. No smiles, hardly any friendliness, and unfortunately, several things that I find unacceptable, especially in a restaurant of this price range. Plates were passed across the table or handed to the guest instead of being walked around the table and served at the table. Cutlery was placed on a plate on the table instead of being set properly. I found it particularly unpleasant that drinking glasses were handled by the rim – exactly where the guest's mouth would later be. This shouldn't happen, regardless of the price range. We were there with a large group and spent a considerable amount of money. The food was truly delicious, and there's little to criticize there. It's all the more regrettable, then, that the service didn't live up to the quality and price of the food. ... For €93 per person for three courses, I expect attentive, professional, and guest-oriented service. Unfortunately, this was precisely what we lacked that evening. With a significantly better level of service, our overall impression would have been completely different.

We stopped there for a delicious glass of wine and some snacks. We had the fries with Parmesan (highly recommended) and the olives with roasted salted almonds. A perfect complement to the delicious rosé. The wine list is so extensive and excellent that you could get lost in it. Parking is excellent at the beach parking lot (where there are also fast chargers for electric cars). A definite recommendation if you're in Blåvand.

We've been coming here for several years now – to drink a beer. This was our first time eating here, and it certainly won't be the last!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have just celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at HØFDE4 in Blåvand, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of excellent. The chefs have done an exceptionally good job, with each and every dish prepared with great care, creativity and focus on quality. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the entire menu was an experience in itself. The service also deserves the warmest recommendations. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, attentive and professional throughout the evening. We felt really welcome and well taken care of, which made our special day even more memorable. Many thanks to the entire team for helping to make our silver wedding anniversary an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend HØFDE4 to others.

With Høfde 4, the Slaikjær family created a true gem on Blåvand beach a few years ago. During this vacation, I enjoyed the superb food (one three-course meal and one four-course meal) with champagne and wine on two evenings. You choose the number of courses and then select from a range of options for each course, or even an upgrade. The ingredients and preparation are exquisite and definitely Michelin-star quality. The service is incredibly friendly, well-trained, and very attentive. Even small special requests are handled without any fuss. This is especially pleasant when dining alone.

Everything is perfect, and you can tell the boss enjoys his job. That enthusiasm is contagious and spreads to the guests.

Yesterday, my wife and I visited Høfde 4 because we simply wanted to go out for a nice meal. To be honest, we were expecting a typical restaurant with standard prices – and were quite surprised. Even just looking at the menu, it quickly became clear that this was more like fine dining, on par with a Michelin star. The prices are correspondingly high and, in our opinion, not really suitable for families with children. We personally found cocktails at €18.50 quite steep. We opted for the three-course menu, which came to around €86 per person. In the end, the bill came to about €230. That's quite a sum if you were hoping for a "normal" meal. The food itself, however, was truly excellent – ​​the taste and quality were top-notch, there's absolutely nothing to criticize. Nevertheless, we were surprised by just how exclusive the whole experience was. We ended up choosing the three-course menu, which cost around €86 per person. In the end, the bill came to about €230. Conclusion: Very good food and a beautiful ambiance, but you should know beforehand that this is upscale gastronomy with correspondingly high prices – not a classic restaurant for a normal evening.
