HKM Falafel & Kebab Hillerød

This place was recommended by a friend who praised their delicious balkan cevapi and pljeskavica. I was a little skeptical at first, but after tasting their dishes, I can say that I am very pleasantly surprised by the taste. It is actually the closest to the authentic Balkan taste I have tried in Denmark. The bread is served in the traditional way, fried on the pan with oil and lots of onions, true Balkan style. 😁 The service is excellent with a very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come again. 5 star from here ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My stars go to the falafel which is world class, even after the 3rd visit! As far as I understood the owner when I chatted with him last time, it was his father who opened the legendary falafel stall in Christiania back in the 80s/90s and it is the same recipe he uses as back then. Of course, it can be difficult to get verified just like that, but whatever it is, he makes a furiously good falafel. By the way, my 9-year-old daughter really liked it too ☺️ An overlooked gem in the middle of Hillerød's most unattractive hood 😀
