Una experiencia interesante, muy diferente de una cena ordinaria! Mucha comida fresca para cocinar en dos sabores de sopa, y tuvimos más comida de la que podíamos comer. El personal era agradable y atento. Pero nos dieron agua para beber, excepto de las cervezas, y nos reímos mucho cuando nos dimos cuenta de que teníamos que pagar 125 dkr (casi 200 sek) por 1 litro de agua del grifo! Para ser honestos, casi nos sentimos un poco engañados, ya que 1 litro de agua era más caro que el vino del Systembolaget sueco...

Hot Pot Republic is such a nice restaurant. I’ve been several times over the years. It’s a great spot for a social dining experience, perfect for sharing food with friends or partners. You cook everything yourself at the table in a shared hot pot, so it can be really fun and interactive, but you have to enjoy this style of dining. Last time I brought my colleagues, and reactions were mixed—half enjoyment, half frustration. They're big guys who got a bit impatient with the small pieces and the cooking time. Despite this, they found it funny and even talked about returning with their girlfriends, who they thought would love it. I found that amusing—definitely a cosy and intimate experience, ideal for couples or smaller groups. Four people around one hot pot might feel a bit crowded, but I've done it before, and it worked fine; it really depends on the group. This time we had the full menu: starter, hot pot, and dessert. The starter—enoki mushrooms in tempura—was amazing. The dessert, however, was disappointing. It was tofu-based, and though I usually enjoy tofu, it didn't really work as a dessert. The cocktails were excellent, surprisingly creative, and full of flavour. Definitely don’t skip them if you visit. Overall, it's a 5 out of 5 from me—just consider carefully if your dining companions will appreciate this slower-paced, social style of eating.

Our first time trying this hotpot spot and we absolutely loved it! Even without a reservation, they kindly seated us. The food was fresh and so delicious,the soju was great and the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. Such a warm, welcoming experience,we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic all around, great price for the amount and quality of the food. The service is on top and they are super nice. We showed up one hour early by mistake and they accommodated us. It was our anniversary and they gave us a glass of sparkling wine on the house 🥹 100% recommend and will come again

An exciting and different food experience. I didn't know about the Hot Pot concept before I entered the restaurant, and when I first realized that it involved preparing your own food in boiling soups, I woke up. 'Oh, this is really fun'! It bothers me when a food experience isn't always 'just' having a plate in front of you. And yes, I also love good food served on a plate! - but I also like to be surprised and try something new. At Hot Pot Republic you start by choosing two starters and two soups. The starters are suitable for sharing. We got crispy fried chicken and deep-fried mushrooms, respectively. The two soups were to be used in the hot pot, which is a pot divided into two compartments that are placed on a hot plate built into the table, which you can operate yourself. In addition, there is a tray with an abundance of delicious Chinese vegetables, glass noodles, and a little meat. You can also choose a completely vegetarian variation. In addition, a small dish of dumplings and a special sauce for these, and a bowl of noodles. We chose the strongest soup 'Mala' and the classic 'Umami'. The soups were well-prepared and full of flavor. In the Mala, I had a taste experience I have NEVER tried before and I think I can get by well otherwise. In this soup, there were some fresh peppercorns that exploded in flavor when I chewed them. The taste kept hanging in my mouth, for a long time. My mouth almost started to water because of this intense impact/taste and the taste stayed for so long, and so intense, that I was completely on the verge of crying over it. When the taste started to fade, the taste became saltier. Fantastic experience. However, something so intense can also become too much when it continues. Because there was no way to avoid these peppercorns, and therefore the meal ended up being very drowned out by these peppercorns. It was so intense that it became too much when it continued. In the end, I had to sort out the peppercorns. But when you are aware of this, it is not a problem to sort them out to dampen the 'explosions'. However, the strong, very spicy Mala soup drowned out the mild, classic 'Umami'. The many fresh vegetables and the meat tasted really good after cooking in the soups. But it required a little extra concentration to eat hot pot than a regular plate serving, as we had to keep an eye on cooking times and at the same time not cook too much at once. So we were well entertained throughout the dinner 😊 We chose a Chinese wheat beer for the meal. I think it was called Keze. Beer and hot pot go well together, we could see. If you want to try a different dining experience, I highly recommend Hot Pot Republic. In addition to the good food, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly and smiling. The only downside was that the waiter did not introduce/explain the concept to us before we ordered/started. So at first I was a little confused about what was going to happen.

We booked on the same day and got a very nice table. The quality of the soup, the meat, the fishball, shrimp, tofu and vegetables were amazingly very good. The appetizers, particularly the enoki tempura, were very tasty. Service was above par. Will definitely be back.

Havde lavet en reservation til middag til 4 pers. Bestilte Hot pot menuen. Alt maden var super frisk med masser af varation til at proppe i hot potten. Desværre var suppen og den tilhørende sauce så saltet at man ikke kunne smage andet
