This place was off the chain! Everything was so fresh. When they say spicy they mean it.

Really fun concert, and one too much Asian atmosphere. Good food, where you can sit and eat for hours and enjoy yourself. Good for smaller groups. However, there is not much space and with many people in the restaurant it can get very loud and cramped, but it is almost just authentic and like being there yourself

Underwhelming experience. Hotpot only comes in a set, can’t choose what you want or don’t want. Small selection of food. No sauces, spices or herbs to mix. An oversimplified take on hotpot for Europeans, quite far from a proper Chinese one. You can get much better hotpot even in Germany. Overpriced for what it is. Service slow and kept forgetting orders. Not sure I’d want to go there a second time.

This is 100% the best restaurant experience i have ever had. The food was amazing but the customer service was exceptional. I will recommend this place to every single person i know. Amazing! Shout out to Kira and Miguel

You get full even if it doesn't look like much. We bought extra meat for NOK 65. Staff can't quite decide whether they speak Danish or English to guests, but it works. I could come here again.

Nag,on is an interesting and good place. With a family of 4, we paid DKK 1,505. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth trying this restaurant once.

A wonderful experience, since I have never eaten hot pot before! We booked a table for two people and had a beer and a hot pot for 2. We had one umami and one classic spicy broth, both delicious. However, the spicy broth, even though it was not the spiciest of the three, was quite spicy. We eventually had to ask the service to add a bit of the other broth in it to dilute it 😆. The amount of food was more than enough and the quality of the ingredients seemed very good! The service was also very polite, helpful and cheerful 😊. They usually go around tables and refill the broth that has evaporated, which was very nice. The place also has a very nice atmosphere, with all the decorations and vapors coming out of every table. As for the price , it is not cheap for sure, but viewing it as an experience once in a while and not as a weekly dinning option, I think it is right where you would expect it. I strongly suggest that you book a table before going, because it seems that it's always full.

Hot Pot Republic provides a really fun eating experience that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys chinese food. We had both starters and the hot pot and concluded thatbthe hot pot itself would have been plenty enough. The starters were super tasty, but we ended up being way too ful before finishing the veggies and meat for the hot pot. The soup bases were really good, we had the umami in one side and least spicy in the other, still a bit too spicy for some at our table, but mixing the two was perfect. We also tried the wagyu, which was fun to try but not worth the extra 200kr.

Third time visiting this place, always a pleasure 😊 the food is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is top notch! 👌 10s across the board!

What a nice experience! We ordered spicy beef and fermented soup (my fav) plus 2 starters, the taste of the broth was amazing. It was so much food I could barely roll out from the restaurant. If you like soups, this is your place. Though, be careful if you order the spicy one – it’s a real hottie. I’m definitely going back there and recommending this place to all my friends to try.
