Hotel Amerika Mariagerfjord

A bit strange to come to a hotel, with self service, but it works 😀😀😀

The room is a bit dark, but otherwise nice and neat. Breakfast is also good and there should be something for everyone. Can be recommended

Update: 4. juli arrangement/restaurantens fødselsdag. VENTETID. Nok det bedste ord der falder mig ind. Fra vi sad ved bordet og til at vi fik forretten fik der 55 minutter, heraf 30 min før der kom en tjener for at tage imod bestilling. Maden var, da den kom, super fantastisk. Derfor kun 1 fradrag i stjerner. Fredagsforkælelse. Det må man sige. Fantastisk mad og fremragende betjening. Vi kommer igen.

I booked a total of three rooms here, because I am getting married nearby. Two days before the date, I suddenly get a message from them through booking.com informing that the hotel is unstaffed from 13:00 on Friday through 0800 on mondays, and that checkin is only possible through an app. This is very unexpected and I cannot risk not being able to check in. Furthermore, without this information available at the time of reservation this constitutes a change in the agreement outside of what is logical and reasonable. - Update: after contacting the hotel they were willing to have staff around which helped us check in. But I find the situation rather unfortunate nonetheless.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the entire place felt very well-maintained. The food was delicious — both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety, and everything was fresh and tasty. What really stood out to me was the friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing — perfect for a short getaway. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, good food, and great service.

Great hotel in a good central location. Super helpful staff. Convenient parking. Will stay again.
