Hotel Frøslev Kro Aabenraa

My handicapped wife and I have - many times during the last years, spent several days in a row in this, very nice, minor Hotel. We get the same low level room with a terrasse and a view, not to need to climb the stairs! The Dinners in the Hotel are fine, with an added bottle of wine. No complaints! A local road is passing the Hotel and goes near directly to the Padburg Industrial Area with several wellknown Bordershops close to each other, and no need to use the Motorway/Autobahn to go down. And with a not so much used Bordercontrol with hardly any waiting time. We are both very satisfied and we have ordered a new stay in a short time from this.

Beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We would love to come back.

Quite ok for 1-2 nights but not more

Overall a nice hotel. However, a lot of things were not in order at all. We had to request simple cleaning ourselves, many things at the breakfast buffet were missing, at breakfast things like nutella etc. were just put on the table in a large 3 liter bucket (a bit unhygienic), the beds were like bricks, the drawer in one of the bathrooms was broken and much much more. However, it must be said that the staff were friendly

It could probably be a good idea to have curtains installed in the shower cabins so that the entire bathroom floor does not get wet. As well as having a dictator put on the front door so that it does not slam so violently that the doors shake and the floors vibrate in the rooms above the entrance.

My experience at this hotel was not very good, as I was there because of problems with my car, and the insurance company sent me there until they could sort out my flight to Portugal. - The hotel restaurant is closed - There are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. - There is no Uber, Bolt or food delivery services. - Since there is no restaurant, at least the staff could suggest an alternative. The room is cozy, however the door is old and has wear and tear and makes noises all day and night. It would be a good idea to replace it or install a rubber seal to absorb the impacts. Staying in a hotel without a car, where there is no restaurant or where you can shop, and not being able to sleep peacefully. I do not recommend it!
