We had an awesome dinner at the restaurant yesterday. We ate fish, salsify and smashed potatoes. The fish was soft, crumbly and juicy inside. The salsify is crunchy but soft inside and the fish sauce is incredibly tasty. The temperature of the food was perfect. We had chocolate mousse for dessert, it was also very delicious with the small pieces of chocolate. Thank you to the Hotel and the staff for giving us a perfect birthday dinner.

Coming to the restaurant for lunch. It has developed very positively in recent months and in my opinion you can't get a better lunch anywhere in Gilleleje. We had the most delicious herring dish followed by plaice and chicken salad. It was just so good. Nice service where the waiter comes uninvited and changes our plates because we are sharing. Top professionalism and a good atmosphere in a cozy restaurant.

Hvis du vil opleve et fantastisk hotel, der er til at betale. Så er det Gilleleje Strandhotel, må du besøge. . Alt fungerer perfekt. Værtsparret Gitte og Lars gør deres til, at alle føler sig godt tilpas. Altid høflig betjening. Vi fik så meget for vores penge og dejlig mad af høj kvalitet. Absolut et besøg værd - både sommer og vinter. Har kun de allerbedste anbefalinger. Hans Peter Borregaard

En riktigt god weekend på detta smakfulla och mycket trivsamma hotell. Mycket vänligt och professionellt bemötande, rent och fräscht och ett kök som överraskade positivt med fransk finess och dansk kvalite. Vi kommer mer än gärna tillbaka.

Skønt værelse med havudsigt. Dejlig morgen buffet. Men det kniber med spisning om aftenen, både med service og med alt for lang ventetid.

12/03/2024: How lucky can you be? On a bitterly cold Tuesday in March on the way from Hornbæk to Gilleleje, we discovered a small Dannebrog flag on the sign for the Fyrkroen at Nakkehoved Lighthouse. Did that mean it was open? - And yes, it was there. And what a pleasant surprise. We were received by the friendliest staff, seated at a table with a view of Kullen in a restaurant environment that was beautiful, classic and modern all at once. We got four of the house's good dishes from the cold and warm kitchen - not to put a finger on any of it. (The beer was also good - even the non-alcoholic (it is said)). A thoroughly delightful and encouraging experience. Thanks.
29/01/2024: Fyrkroen is beautifully situated on the Øresund and enriches the most beautiful, both in view and in the tasteful decoration. Deliciously prepared fresh fish and shellfish can be recommended.

11/03/2024: The gathering place for all local residents in Tisvilde and Holløse who love premium bakery bread. Always fresh and nicely presented. Sweet baker maidens. If you have the time and desire, coffee and freshly baked goods are available on site with indoor and outdoor seating.
