Super cozy, good food and service

Hørby Færgekro is an incredibly beautiful place with views, peace and charm. The quality is top notch all around, and the food is wonderfully homemade – even the jam. The surroundings are pure balm for the soul, and the place can be highly recommended to anyone looking for relaxation and good quality, even if it is just a single night.

With a view of the water and Holbæk on the other side, this is a real gem with exquisite service and the most delicious food.

The hotel is beautifully situated down to Holbæk Fjord and we had a room right next to the fjord. The food was good and the service very friendly.

Had lunch at the inn. It was great. Good food, great service. And as a bonus: nice view of Holbæk Fjord.

The sea was nearby, and I could see the town across the water—the view was beautiful. The welcome drinks were very generous and delicious, so I ended up drinking a lot during my stay. Walking around the hotel area was lovely too—there were flower fields, wheat fields, vineyards, and peacefully grazing horses and cows.

It's rare that you get the feeling upon arrival that you want to return to this place – so it was with excitement that we started our stay. We were warmly welcomed and given the keys to our room, which had a fantastic view. The place has a cozy restaurant, and if the weather permits, there is the option to sit outside. A little tip: Try, if possible, to get a table by the window – this gives the best experience, as not all two-person tables are optimally positioned in the restaurant. The menu is not large, but on the other hand there is something for everyone, and our dishes were tasty. However, it could be a good idea for guests to have the opportunity to taste the wine when ordering a whole bottle for the table – that would complete the otherwise fine service. With a well-stocked breakfast buffet, we had a good end to our stay. We will definitely see you another time...
