08/08/2026: What a delicious open sandwich. When I first took a bite of the chicken salad, I thought of Babette's Feast, where the hard-working locals forget all grudges during meals and become happy "just because of the food". It was truly the best open sandwich I have ever had. The surroundings and staff were pleasant, which only added to the good experience.

13/08/2026: Such nice employees and they have many delicious and interesting pizzas that you can't usually get at other pizza places. I also really appreciate that they have several really delicious vegetarian options.

Do yourself a favor and skip the chain cafes and get an authentic experience in the little side street. The best fresh homemade buns, great coffee/chai and the friendliest service. There is both the option to sit inside and outside in a small cozy courtyard. 10/10

11/06/2026: Had coffee with a friend and had a piece of cake. Super delicious. Had my 7 month old son with me, for whom I immediately got a high chair. It's the coziest place I've ever had coffee. Adventurous and warm decor. Welcoming and professional service, and the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs (which is a rare commodity in the service industry today, unfortunately). The only mistake is that I haven't visited you before, but that's on my side. 🩷🙏🏼🌸

07/08/2026: What a lovely place! Præstegaarden in Jyderup doesn't just deliver good food - the whole location is warm, atmospheric and full of history. I had a really tasty and crispy shooting star with hand-peeled shrimp and fresh, sweet rhubarb. A combination that was right in the cupboard. And a great draft beer from Herslev Bryghus 🍺 My wife was at least as happy with her omelet with delicious Duroc sausages and crispy bacon. Afterwards we moved to the café, where we enjoyed a good cup of coffee and the most delicious cakes - Lemon Pie and a wonderful cardamom knot 🥧☕ The service was top notch in both places, and the food really speaks for itself. But I also have to give an extra thumbs up for the surroundings. Præstegaarden has a very special atmosphere, where history, coziness and good food go hand in hand. A place we would love to visit again ❤️

05/07/2026: Excellent food in cozy surroundings. The service was definitely impeccable, they were there right away, and they made sure we had fresh water several times. The bread was really dry, even with toothpaste, but that was also the only minus.

23/06/2026: It was really good food. We got 3 dishes and a bottle of red wine. There were 4 of us. We got a cola. And tap water. I was shocked when I got the bill, the water cost 116 kr.

24/07/2026: Super service, nice and very helpful employees. From the time I brought my espresso machine until it was finished it took an hour, I was lucky they just had a break. So I won't be without my espresso all weekend. Competent and efficient service technicians. I can highly recommend them ps. Their coffee farmers are really good.

24/07/2026: First time I taste Ethiopian food. Super interesting experience. The food was delicious and exciting! When we entered the restaurant we were asked if we had tasted Ethiopian food before. We were told about the food and how to eat it correctly. Also about what is in it and how to make it. Lovely welcome, and great that they are so informative. Super sweet service. Clean place, and nicely decorated. Definitely an experience!

11/08/2026: We had a fantastic meal last night. Let's start with the fish. My husband had the scallop dish and said it was excellent; his favorite dish in Holbaek. My fish entree with incredible vegetables (the mushrooms and corn had so much flavor)! I had never eaten a whitefish cooked with a light piece of toast on top; delicious. My husband loved his halibut entree as well. The amuse bouche (I don't know the Danish term for it 🤔) was a plate of four little bites of both seafood and ham. The two other parts of the meal ambiance and service: what a joy to eat a meal without loud music, struggling to hear others at the table. A very pleasant dining room with a view of boats in the harbor. And Camille delivered 5 star service; personable, attentive, knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation--she is a total pro. Kudos to the chef and his team. A great finish to our week in Denmark.

06/08/2026: Really cozy place and the food was definitely worth the trip. Tasted super delicious and their IPA is definitely recommended. Will definitely come again.

02/04/2026: Tjotjalt Æderen...Really tasty kebab and side dishes. Durum of half a kilo is good in the stomach, meat, cabbage and salad well spread through the bread, go hums and chili. See you soon ;o)

03/06/2026: We spent one night at Hørby Færgekro in a junior suite with a terrace and sea view. We especially loved the unique location right on the water. The view across the fjord to the town opposite is beautiful, and the gentle sound of the water creates a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The room was generally pleasant, however, the building is quite noisy. We could clearly hear noises from the neighboring rooms, especially in the bathroom. The bed, described as "queen-size," was smaller than we expected, but quite cozy. Breakfast was decent and offered a good selection of cold cuts and other breakfast items. The restaurant also impressed us. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and the quality of the food was good. It's easy to enjoy a meal there in the evening. Overall, Hørby Færgekro is a good choice for a short stay. The fantastic location right on the fjord more than makes up for any shortcomings. Anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with a nice view can stay here without hesitation. However, don't expect luxury.

27/05/2026: We held our confirmation ceremony there. Everything was in order. The food and wines were excellent and the staff had everything under control. We could completely relax and enjoy the party. It was a lovely day.
