We dined in last night and had the most wonderful food and wine! The staff includes themselves in their guests, we felt very welcome. It's like stepping into a time warp and it's just done from top to toe. Easy to get to if you are on the train. We would love to come again! Vh, Mikkel, Betina and Signe

Absolutely fantastic little hotel! Run by a couple and their daughter, everything is very family friendly and nice. For example, we were sitting in the common room in the evening and the owner came in and said that they were going to bed now, but that we were welcome to stay. Then she showed us where to turn off the lights and asked us to blow out the candles before we left. The food was delicious and traditionally Danish - for breakfast you got a personal small plate with scrambled eggs and bacon which they cooked to order (except for the breakfast buffet itself then). Dinner consisted of the best fried plaice I've ever eaten, with traditional side dishes. The rooms were perfectly fine, but the atmosphere and the overall experience make it a clear five! It was like stepping into the Badhotellet from the TV series, albeit with 70s decor. Highly recommend!

We were so happy we stayed. Made a bit of a last minute booking and will now make this a yearly trip. Was exactly as we had hoped - familiar, friendly, wonderful service, cozy location, excellent food!!!!!

Small and cute hotel. The staff were very nice and the hotel felt old-fashioned in the best possible way. For dinner, they only served one dish, which felt nice. The dinner was quite expensive but it was among the best fish I have ever eaten so it was absolutely worth it. Simply a gem. Go here!

Lovely guest house with an aura from the 50s-60s-70s. Friendly staff and unbeatable breakfast. So nice to live here and avoid the crowds in Skagen.

We had the most delicious food. A nice big crispy, well-cooked plaice and delicious super-tender beef, with crispy green beans, perfectly cooked cauliflower, super well-cooked new potatoes and delicious home-made béarnaise. Keep up the good work. Not the last time. There is only one minus, maybe two. I didn't want to be full and unfortunately it's only open in the summer. It is high-class food

Yes the rooms are worn and old. The beds rock hard. Who cares about this when they serve the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel? 🫡

Found this little place by coincidence. Called and checked if the online reservation came through and was asked of we wanted the fish- or the meat meal. Every day has a new dish - yet very traditional and authentic. The service and the food was excellent and highly recommendable. Even a decent wine card to choose from. We will happily come back - in the summer time, as the restaurant is only open for 3 months during the summer.
