We went in for dinner last night and had the most wonderful food and wine! The staff includes themselves in their guests, we felt very welcome. It's like you step into a time warp and it's just done from top to toe. Easy to get to if you're on the train. We'll be back! Regards, Mikkel, Betina and Signe

Absolutely fantastic little hotel! Run by a couple and their daughter, and everything is very familiar and nice. For example, we were sitting in the living room in the evening and the owner came in and said that they were going to bed now, but that we were welcome to stay. Then she showed us where to turn off the lights and asked us to blow out the candles before we left. The food was delicious and traditionally Danish - for breakfast you got a personal small plate of scrambled eggs and bacon that they cooked to order (in addition to the breakfast buffet itself). Dinner consisted of the best fried plaice I have ever eaten, with traditional side dishes. The rooms were just okay, but the atmosphere and the experience overall make it a definite five! It was like stepping into the Badhotellet from the TV series, but with 70s decor. Highly recommend!

We were so happy we stayed. Made a bit of a last minute booking and will now make this a yearly trip. Was exactly as we had hoped - familiar, friendly, wonderful service, cozy location, excellent food!!!!!

Small and cute hotel. The staff was very nice and the hotel felt old-fashioned in the best possible way. For dinner they only served one dish which felt nice. The dinner was quite expensive but it was some of the best fish I have ever eaten so it was absolutely worth it. Simply a gem. Go here!

Lovely guesthouse with an aura from the 50s-60s-70s. Friendly staff and unbeatable breakfast. So nice to stay here and escape the crowds in Skagen.

We had the most delicious food. A nice big crispy, well-cooked plaice and delicious super-tender beef, with crispy green beans, perfectly cooked cauliflower, super well-cooked new potatoes and delicious homemade bearnaise. Keep it up, so delicious. Not the last time. There is only one minus, maybe two. I didn't feel like getting full and unfortunately it is only open in the summer. It is high-class food

Yes the rooms are worn and old. The beds are rock hard. Who cares about this when they serve the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel? 🫡

Encontré este pequeño lugar por coincidencia. Llamé y comprobé si la reserva en línea llegó y se le pidió que queríamos el pescado - o la comida de carne. Cada día tiene un plato nuevo, pero muy tradicional y auténtico. El servicio y la comida era excelente y muy recomendable. Incluso una carta de vino decente para elegir. Estaremos encantados de volver - en el verano, ya que el restaurante solo está abierto durante 3 meses durante el verano.
