Hotel Jutlandia Frederikshavn

We were on our way to the ferry to Sweden and spent one night here. The room was great, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a bit difficult for vegetarians and picky eaters, but the supermarket around the corner was able to help out.

Beautiful hotel right on Fredrikshavn harbor. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. The beds were great! The bathroom is a bit older, but very clean. That's the most important thing. The staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast was extensive and delicious! You can walk to the town center in just a few minutes, where you'll find some restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Nice place close to everything in Frederikshavn

We arrived very late after 12.00 midnight after driving many hours. We were able to order a couple of drinks which we really deserved. Good service.

Booked a room for 2 nights and called right away to say I would be at the hotel earlier than agreed. Was told the room would be ready before arrival, but ended up waiting for several hours at the reception. Was also not allowed to eat my lunch at the reception. In the evening it was far too hot and no air conditioning. Booked with breakfast, but was told it was not included anyway. Overall bad experience.

We're shipspotters and chose the Hotel Jutlandia because it's located right next to the ferry dock and offers a sweeping view of the harbor. That's why we opted for the most expensive room category, around €240, and booked a room with a balcony. The hotel granted our request and assigned us room 511. From there, we had a clear view of the harbor and were able to take fantastic photos of, among other things, the Læsøfærgen. The room was large, offered enough space for two suitcases, seating, coffee making facilities, a spacious and absolutely clean bathroom, a TV with foreign language (and German) programs, and a wide balcony with seating where you could relax and enjoy the sun. Neither the street in front of the hotel nor the ferry terminal opposite posed a disturbing source of noise, apart from police sirens and the occasional souped-up motorcycle. There was a private parking lot behind the hotel, and there is also a parking lot across the street from the hotel at the ferry terminal. We saw numerous charging stations for electric cars in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. We didn't use the restaurant on the 10th floor in the evening, but the breakfast there was above average. There is also outdoor seating with a great view. The breakfast offered everything you would expect from a hotel in this price range. It was also child-friendly, with numerous cereals and the chocolate bars for bread, which are so common in Denmark. Eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, yogurt - everything was there. We didn't use any of the hotel's other facilities and can't give a review on them. Overall, we really liked the hotel; the staff was courteous, and the value for money was absolutely perfect. Thank you very much! We would stay here again.

Hotel Jutlandia is located as centrally in Frederikshavn as possible. 20m to the shopping street, several exciting restaurants nearby. Short distance to the ferry port. Sparse breakfast. There are carpets on the floors, in many rooms. The hotel seems worn. The cleanliness is top class.
