Marienlyst is a really nice place, great location and good restaurants, however, there is a little to be desired in terms of maintenance of rooms and hallways, they need a loving hand in several places.
The spa bath is great with a fantastic view ☀️

I have been a guest at Marienlyst and their spa several times. It is clear that they have chosen to save on both quality and service recently. You have changed e.g. that sparkling water is no longer available in the spa, before there was free water, it is no longer available, etc. it was once a hotel that focused on details. It is no longer. Now it's more of a hotel, surviving on what they once had.

We had high expectations for our stay at Marienlyst Badehotel, and on some points they were fulfilled. The room was really nice, and the view over the sea was nothing short of fantastic – clearly one of the hotel's biggest advantages.
Unfortunately, there were several disappointments which overshadowed the experience. The food in the restaurant was far too salty, which ruined an otherwise pleasant dinner. Even worse, both of our saunagus reservations were canceled due to lack of staff - a huge disappointment, especially when we had traveled all the way from Vietnam for a relaxing experience.
To make matters worse, we were also billed for three set menus, even though we had repeatedly – both to two different receptionists, in the restaurant and by email – pointed out that we were only two people. It took three weeks before we got our money back, and along the way there was virtually no communication or help from the hotel on our inquiries.
All in all, Marienlyst Badehotel has great potential with its location and facilities, but the many mistakes and the lack of follow-up on the guests' inquiries mean that we unfortunately cannot give more than 3 stars.

Absolutely fantastic beach hotel, the service was top notch. And there was always staff in sight, so if you had any questions you could always get an answer.

Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse på Rory d. 16.11.24.
Vi fejrede en rund fødselsdag - 23 personer med familie og venner.
Også to børn og en baby deltog, og blev rummet så fint, så de også følte sig velkomne.
Omgivelserne i orangeriet er perfekte med smuk udsigt til havet og en smule isoleret, lidt chambre separee-agtigt.
Vi har kun ros - maden, serviceniveauet med yderst kompetent og venlig betjening fra samtlige i restauranten.
Vi fik en dejlig og anderledes buffet, hvori der f.eks indgik snegle, moules, tapas, lækre salater, ost, lækkert brød samt andet godt.
Før arrangementet var der venlig og hurtig kommunikation med mail omgående og åbenhed for specielle ønsker.
Jeg anbefaler meget, og vil helt sikkert komme tilbage.
