Hotel Marienlyst Helsingør

Was at a conference with overnight stay. Beautiful hotel with an atmosphere of the "old" days with nice decor. Service was faultless and the room was nice and clean. There are also good parking options close to the hotel at a reasonable price. Or free a few minutes walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at Marienlyst Strandhotel. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and luxurious, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and a large bathroom with two showers. Everything was thoughtfully designed and made our stay feel truly special. Although we did not have dinner at the hotel, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast early in the morning. The quality and selection were excellent and provided a perfect start to the day. I also visited the spa. While parts of it are currently under renovation, there were still facilities available to enjoy, and the experience was very relaxing. I am already looking forward to returning once the renovation is completed. One of the highlights of the hotel is its fantastic location. Sitting by the sea with a glass of wine, enjoying the view of Kronborg Castle (Hamlet’s Castle), or taking a peaceful walk along the waterfront creates a truly memorable experience. Marienlyst Strandhotel is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have visited in Denmark. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway, and I cannot wait to return.

A fantastic beach hotel with a unique location directly on the Øresund. The rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the view over the water is absolutely fantastic. Excellent facilities, spa and restaurant.

In every way a great experience - we visited the hotel in connection with a music event It worked really well. It didn't ruin the overall experience that there was a guest who absolutely had to smoke in the room and set off the fire alarm. It was annoying, but was resolved relatively quickly. Thanks for taking care of that too 👍

Lovely spa hotel with nice large rooms and sea views. Good restaurant, and not least a super breakfast buffet.

Really nice overnight stay - we got it at a bargain price. The stay included sauna massage, which is usually included in the spa package and therefore does not cost extra. Unfortunately, the worst massage experience we have ever had; consisted of two rounds, the first of which was far too hot (for everyone, possibly including the massage master himself). The timing of the oils was off and there was no initial guide to breathing or other techniques for a good massage. We also chose to eat at Gemma in the evening. Nice service and atmosphere (we had a sea view), but you should not eat there for the sake of the food. We would have preferred to review the restaurant alone (then they would have gotten two stars), but that is not possible. Marienlyst Strandhotel, however, excels with its service - all the staff were nice, welcoming and accommodating. All in all, fine, especially the accommodation/room - but will not come again if it is at the usual price.
