Hotel Propellen Billund

The rooms are large. The food is okay, but the location is fantastic.

There is ample parking, and the staff (reception, breakfast room) are friendly. There's no restaurant, but there is a convenience store (Daily) with various dishes (for microwave heating, salads, sandwiches, and much more) – be warned: prices are quite high… The bar is open 24/7, offering good draft beer (various types). The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are well-equipped and suitable for business purposes (good Wi-Fi, work desk). I didn't notice anything from the nearby airport. Overall, good value for money.

Clean. Comfy. No nonsense. No frills. Not unlike many other northern European hotels I've been to over the last decade or so. Note that the restaurant isn't open for dinner. You'll need to catch an Uber to the town centre if you're peckish after visiting Legoland for the day.

Overall it's fine, except the part where the radiators were freezing at night, with the radiators however, I was also freezing, you couldn't adjust the temperature. The saunas were... cold. The women's one didn't even work but we managed to curl up into the mens one. The water in the pool was kind of cold. The breakfast was fine, however with Billund and everything it was very crowded with children. Overall it's fine, just make sure you get the room with the warm radiators before the winter.

Simply magnificent. Despite being a small hotel, it has everything you could want. 24/7 reception and food courts. Indoor pool, playgrounds, gym, and relaxation areas. Perfectly located for visiting Legoland and the Lego House. The rooms and surroundings are incredibly clean. The restaurant is spacious and satisfying. But most importantly, the staff is incredibly helpful and solution-oriented. Thank you so much for everything. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent place to stay, welcoming staff. The best location close enough to walk to all the major attractions in Billund.

Nice hotel with good facilities. I was there for a conference with one night stay. And I was lucky that I had a view of Legoland itself 👍🏻

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful property in Billund, very close to Legoland (a 5-minute walk) and the Legohouse (a 15-minute walk). The room, though minimal, was decidedly spacious, well-maintained, and clean. The bathroom, however, was far from up to par: cold, uncomfortable, and most importantly, without a shower stall (there was a much-hated shower curtain). The breakfast was truly excellent, both sweet and savory, plentiful, and of high quality. The reception staff was extremely cold: no pleasantries, no smiles. Prices were high, but then again, this is Denmark.

It's a wonderful hotel! Both the outside and the inside are very beautiful. Our room was on the ground floor, it was a huge room, clean, elegant, beautiful furniture, soft and fluffy pillows and duvets. A huge TV, but we didn't use it. The bathroom has everything you need. The floor has very soft and comfortable carpet. The big bed, sofa, duvet and spare pillow. In the morning we left early and they gave us a packed breakfast. Free coffee, tea in the room and at the reception. We are very happy with the experience. I highly recommend it!
