Hotel Svanen Billund

The hotel definitely deserves its excellent reputation. Its great location is a major advantage – it's a short drive from the airport (5-6 minutes by car), which is convenient for both late arrivals and early departures. There's also a bus stop nearby, offering quick access to the terminal. Another advantage is the excellent breakfast. The selection of dishes is wide, everything is fresh and delicious, ensuring everyone will find something to their liking. Furthermore, every day from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, hotel guests can enjoy a free beer or glass of wine, and children can enjoy a juice of their choice. Another major advantage is the proximity to Legoland and Lalandia (both are within walking distance). This is a great option for families with children. In summary, the hotel combines comfort, a good location, and high-standard service. I highly recommend it, especially for family travelers and those who value comfort and time savings.

Booking type: I booked a standard room. Pros: It was a good size, clean, the bed and towels were clean, there was a kettle, the breakfast was nice (a simple buffet), the service was good, there was a convenience store in the lobby, ample free parking, and excellent Wi-Fi speed. Cons: There was no bidet, no luggage service, no air conditioning, and the services were far away. I tried the dinner at the hotel; the food was average. My personal opinion: I recommend it in winter if you have a car.

Good place to stay. Hospitality can be improved… The overall stay at the hotel was good. We were very pleased with the chef who specially cooked some vegan dishes for us. The only time when we were disappointed was when they charged us for serving even the tap water.

Its an average hotel with fairly good breakfast options. The rooms could be ideal for a couple or family with one child. Could be small for 2 kids. For some reason the power kept going down in our room. The biggest positive thing is being close to Lalandia, Legoland and Lego House. I don't mind coming back again.

A very nice hotel in Billund. The rooms are very large with a huge TV. The bathrooms are stocked with premium Danish toiletries (which are also available for purchase). Unfortunately, there's no air conditioning, so it could get a bit warm in the summer. Parking is available right outside the hotel. Breakfast was fabulous, with a wide variety of options, and it was served until 10:00 AM.

It's not too far away from Legoland- 10 min walk, and the service was really nice. My friends had Wienerschnitzel for dinner, and they really like it. I had beef file, it was really tender. Our children had kids buffet with plenty things to choose from. Breakfast was also good: different kinds of bread, cheeses, meat and cereal to try. We were visiting this hotel because of the Christmas deal they had with Legoland - 2 day voucher. It was very relaxing, great skin products in the rooms, we just had to buy a very nice smelling soap at the counter before we left. Recommend.

Practical facility... close to the airport and downtown Billund. It's a hotel in every sense of the word, even if at first glance it looks like a bed and breakfast. The staff is efficient and courteous. The atmosphere is clean and very quiet. The room is well-maintained despite being a few years old. Extremely quiet and a comfortable bed allow for a peaceful, undisturbed sleep. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of sweet and savory options. It's well-stocked, even for those with food intolerances.

Extremely pleasant and favorite place. It can be reached on foot from the airport, there is also public transport. Those who have a car can use the hotel parking lot.

Lovely clean rooms, the only downside is the very cold floor in the bathroom..

The location is very convenient for visiting Legoland, but the service wasn't that great. And the rooms had a strange smell.
