Høst København

We opted for the AN EVENING AT HØST option, comprising Sparkling wine, 5 course menu, 5 glass wine pairing, coffee and water - everything was truly delicious and tasty! The Smoked scallops with cucumber and horseradish were so juicy and well presented. The Lightly baked cod with green asparagus and trout roe had the most silky and amazing beurre blanc sauce. Creamy potatoes with peas and truffle were well cooked and refreshing. Mussel soup was so tasty, and the right backs of herbs! Both the Schnitzel of Chicken with morrels and white asparagus eller and the other main option of Beef tenderloin with madagascar pepper and white asparagus were perfect! - Desert of Rhubarb with cardamom and caramel was a great way to end the meal. All wines and small surprises between course made this a place I’d definitely come back too!

We had a wonderful dinner while vacationing in Copenhagen. Special thanks to Chris who was friendly and helpful while serving us.

No need to say anything. Amazing experience

Had 5-course vegetarian with wine pairing. It was very tasty, there were surprises in between, the dessert was fantastic. The employees were experienced but cordial. Not too expensive and still in a class of its own.

April 2025. 5 stars for value for money. But 4 stars because I think something can be done better. I think we had the best waiter Chris - so lovely, professional, charming and with a sense of humour. Didn't feel a cohesiveness or similar standard among the waiters which dragged down the atmosphere. It was a completely ordinary one. Tuesday but it was full - many tourists seem to find their way - but also locals. We chose an evening at Høst with a 5-course and wine menu. 1. there will be far too much food and wine in too short a time. You don't get to enjoy either food or wine. 2. There was good taste in all the dishes, but I think there is too much - more is not better. Less is more. Don't try to make gourmet food, but focus on simpler quality and surprising taste experiences. The atmosphere etc. seems a bit factory-like and impersonal - you just have to do a whole lot of talking to a lot of guests. The wine menu was good and fresh. My lobster tail was tough and not top class. But as I said, so much food and wine and coffee etc. for 1,000 is a really good deal. There just had to be 4 hours available and waiters who had time to enjoy one. Super decor and despite many people there were good acoustics (perhaps the other guests thought we laughed too much). I don't think you should have 5 courses as an option for only 2 hours. Bet on 3 plus the extra and then make more out of the details and don't exaggerate. Less is more.

Vale la pena visitar Copenhague. Fuimos por la comida de tres platos que venía con tres comidas sorpresa adicionales. Cada comida era exquisita con una atención fantástica al detalle. El jugo de limón Verbena es una prueba obligada también. Sin duda visitaría aquí de nuevo y no podría recomendarlo lo suficientemente alto.
