Hundested Kro & Hotel Halsnæs

Great value for money, really delicious breakfast bread and perfect location

The ghost hotel, why? I'll explain! The reception was still open when we arrived. We were shown the way to our room. From then on, we didn't see a single person for the next two days, except for a lady walking through the breakfast room! The breakfast buffet was magically prepared, and it was sufficient for the number of people who were also having breakfast! I don't think the instant coffee is necessary these days! Furthermore, it would have been nice if reception informed us that the entrance gate is locked from 10:00 PM and that a code is needed to enter the hotel! But the funniest thing, I think, was that there was a kettle in the cupboard, but no coffee or milk, of course, but coffee cups would have been really nice! But otherwise, I have to say, it was clean, the balcony had a beautiful view of the harbor, and the sunset was also fantastic!

A bit dated but clean and reasonable. Good breakfast and beds

Really nice place. If we come to those areas again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
