Error in the previous review! Really nice sandwiches in genuine premises. Traditional and nothing to complain about. Very good and alert service.

Few places deserve more than 5 stars, this is one of them! Authentic atmosphere, top class service, large selection so everyone can find something they like, and magically good food. I really love liver pâté, I often eat liver pâté, but this is truly the best I have ever tasted. Want an experience? This is the place! Just remember to book a table.

Wow, did not expect this combination of flavors. I had the herring lunch special. One of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time!!!

For our first restaurant ever in København, we wanted local cuisine in a historic restaurant. And we found the perfect place. The smoerbrod were delicious and the staff : John and Joni were excellent: explaining the M no smoerbrod origin and detailing the choice they offer, with advice. But more than that, John and Joni were kind, funny, friendly in top of their efficiency. Will be our first restaurant when travelling to DK

The food here is really good. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back.

Fantastic place with fantastic open sandwiches. The smoked lamb was "to die for". And friendly staff. Possibly a bit noisy place, but cozy and comfortable.

Great place for a smørrebrød and a perfectly tempered danish beer! Great atmosphere, service and food to a reasonable price despite it’s central location near Strøget. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful experience. The staff took their time and helped us order great food and schnapps. The atmosphere was great and we truly felt like we had an experience that brought Copenhagen and Denmark to life. If I could give it 6 stars I would! Make a point to have a long, lingering meal here!
