Excellent place to eat something delicious and continue enjoying the city

Dining at Nyhavn might sound like a tourist trap, but it always feels good to be here. The atmosphere is part of the experience, and the food quality is fair for the price. The only downside is that when it gets too crowded, the service can slow down. Never mind — we enjoyed it a lot!

We ended up there based partly on a recommendation from a guide and partly on online reviews. We had to wait for a table, but while we waited, we ordered a beer, which was great because it was the waiter's initiative. He took care of us, served us a beer, and we could drink it on a small wall by the flowing water with boats moored there. The atmosphere of the place is amazing; I was already captivated while sitting on the small wall waiting for a table. The food was very good, but the atmosphere of this place makes me want to go back. I recommend it.

There's nothing better for a quick lunch sitting outside on a sunny day in late August. Among a plethora of tourist restaurants, the appealing feature is the sheer number of Danes sitting down to eat inviting dishes. The unpronounceable and indescribable smorrebrod, with either herring or egg and shrimp, is truly delicious. The draft beer is excellent, and there's also a good glass of wine. Service is quick and attentive. Definitely worth considering.

Having lunch here, I was lucky enough to have someone sing for me while I ate.

The place is nice, the food is delicious. The fish and chips are very tasty, highly recommended. Those with pork sensitivities should be aware of this. The rosé wines were delicious...

I must say, the staff are very friendly. You should definitely try the classic Fish and Chips. Prices are the same everywhere.
