13/09/2025: Beautiful and historic estate, with beautiful rooms and facilities. Good food and service.

28/08/2025: My heart says five stars, my brain says three stars. So I'll give it four :-) The estate is actually a beautifully renovated/rebuilt farm. A lot of effort has been put into it, and when you sit in the knight's hall and eat the delicious food, you feel like you've been transported back to a time a few hundred years ago. Unfortunately, I don't think the room lives up to the same high quality. It looks beautiful in the picture, but in reality it's not real brick wall, but plasterboard with some artificial things put up. The fireplace in the room looks like some kind of Chinese electric heater, which is both noisy and in no way adds charm to the room. All in all, a shame, because the place and the service are fantastic, and that won't stop us from coming back there another time.
