Nice place with great pastry. The fried eggs on toast I had was not super pleasant though. Maybe just unlucky or not to my taste.

Our first time ever at Il Buco and what an incredible find! The service people are welcoming, knowledgeable and very attentive, something that is not a given in Copenhagen. We tried the introduction 3 course menu. It was an experience of the senses from start to finish. They only use ingredients sourced in Denmark, which results in the most incredible combinations and flavor adventures. We were blown away by the surprises. The atmosphere in the historic building was perfect.
Go. You won’t be disappointed!

Came here for brunch and had a ridiculously delicious omelette! Probably the best omelette I ever had… the fried eggs was very good too! And the French toast is just amazing! The staff is supper friendly and the atmosphere very cozy and welcoming.

Great baked good and fair priced coffee. Sustainable sourcing of goods and their origin. A fun find in the courtyard of Islands Brygge. Do seek them to support their mission of using great produce and strong focus on sustainable solutions for people and produce. They are clear on where and from whom their source their raw materials

I was really looking forward to a great experience at this restaurant, especially after we got lucky and snagged the last table on a chilly day following a long boat tour. The place had a nice vibe, and we were all set for a good lunch. We ordered three set menus, got our drinks quickly, and soon after, a pretty good charcuterie board arrived. However, things started to go downhill when, after getting our bread basket and the charcuterie board, we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for our main courses. While we liked the atmosphere and didn’t mind snacking on the bread, the long wait was a letdown. When the pasta finally arrived, the portion was disappointingly small. The desserts were a mixed bag too; the pavlova was alright, but the tiramisu had vodka in it, which we thought was a weird choice and didn’t really enjoy.
In short, while the place had a good vibe and some parts of our meal were nice, the long wait for our food and some odd choices with the dishes made our visit less enjoyable than we had hoped.

we did the intro experience. loved the deer tartare and pasta! did not like the oyster it felt too much like sea water. tiramisu was great! and overall vibe was good. if you get the cheese plate, ask for honey! it’s amazing
