05/06/2025: Went there on a not so busy weekday, Tuesday and we had this 7 dish meal very nice and nice presentation of food. However,we didn’t like the one sushi with black sesame seed tasted a little bitter not for us but service saved the day it was really nice and helpful . Overall we liked the ambience, foods and service definitely would order takeaway today as well.

02/06/2025: We went to Kinome on a quiet Sunday evening; just one other couple and a takeaway customer were there. The food looked amazing. Every dish from the 7-course menu was like a little work of art. Clearly, a lot of effort went into the presentation. The fish was fresh and good quality, but honestly, the taste didn’t quite match the look. Beautiful plates, but the flavors were a bit underwhelming. What really let the experience down was the service. Our waitress seemed disengaged, barely explained the dishes, and even blamed us for a small mistake in our drink order. It just didn’t feel very professional or welcoming. The decor was fine, but gave more of a takeaway vibe, which clashed a bit with the fancy plating. We’re glad we tried it, but for us, once was enough.
