A great place for a delicious lunch. I had the Amatricana as a special whilst my wife had the cacio e Pepe and they were just amazing! Negroni’s to wash them down finished a great lunch!

Highly recommended, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food quality. I would definitely go back if I were to return to Copenhagen.

Kind and very welcoming service, thanks also to the staff, but above all a very special pasta. The ingredients are of the highest quality and the combinations of sauces, all inspired by Italian tradition, impressive without straying from tradition. You can feel that the pasta is fresh and carefully handmade. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

A perfect spot for a quick lunch without sacrificing pleasure: the pasta is surprisingly good, with that authentic Italian flavor. The service is captivating, with a friendly chat that makes everything even more enjoyable. A truly unique "corner" in the city.

Great service and great atmosphere. We had the pasta of the day and the Cacio e Pepe. The pasta of the day was nice, but the Casio e Pepe was very salty. The prices are quite high for the portion size though. Great coffee!

Highly recommended! The food is spectacular; it makes you feel like you're eating in Rome. Excellent service. The plaza is a lovely place to eat.

How delicious! We happened upon Il Mattarello for lunch, and were greeted by Irene's smile and Lolli's cheerfulness. We soon had a delicious pumpkin soup with sage and homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything was excellent, and the presentation was truly a treat. We were tempted by the tiramisu... as true Italians, we love our desserts, and we were so happy! Finally, the coffee... How could you not drink a real Italian espresso after days of bizarre Danish coffees?! Irene and Lolli are two truly lovely people, they know their preparations and are super nice to their customers. We'll definitely be back!
