Il Mattarello København

Highly recommended! The food is spectacular; it makes you feel like you're eating in Rome. Excellent service. The plaza is a lovely place to eat.

How delicious! We happened upon Il Mattarello for lunch, and were greeted by Irene's smile and Lolli's cheerfulness. We soon had a delicious pumpkin soup with sage and homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything was excellent, and the presentation was truly a treat. We were tempted by the tiramisu... as true Italians, we love our desserts, and we were so happy! Finally, the coffee... How could you not drink a real Italian espresso after days of bizarre Danish coffees?! Irene and Lolli are two truly lovely people, they know their preparations and are super nice to their customers. We'll definitely be back!

As an Italian on vacation, I highly recommend this place. The pasta is incredibly fresh and the sauces are excellent! The staff is very kind and welcoming. Order the truffle pasta!

The pasta was very very salty, specially the carbonara. We didn’t enjoy that plate, the rest was fine and the service very fast

Alex didn’t say anything for a full minute. Just stared, nodded, and considered crying. That’s how good it was. 10/10 — emotionally confusing in the best way.
