Really really good food. A super delicious fish soup and a good piece of meat with homemade béarnaise. Cozy premises and a really nice waitress All in all a good experience.😁

Sunday 14 January 2024 was marked by a change of throne. I enjoyed a lovely hour's lunch - SHOOTING STARS in a new interpretation with both a little warm and cold. And lots of lovely bread - especially the rye bread. The best version of shooting star I have ever tasted. Beautiful arrangement and a pleasure with fine table setting with white, smooth-rolled napkins in a fine brass napkin ring. Everything is clean and neat, but at the same time cozy with a reference to the shoemaking profession - the boot. Nice cozy music and good service. The menu card, which is presented in a beautiful leather cover, is suitably large both in terms of food and beverages. Hope many more will open their eyes to this gem - I'll be back soon!!

Lovely food and reasonable prices. Nicely restored, oozes of "olden days". Sweet waitress, and nice chat with the chef/tenant.

My baked salmon was really good. As a main course, it went well with fritters. Good homemade fritters. Had actually turned my nose up at whole-roasted plaice, but it was sold out.

Beautiful place, food was ok, it would of been a higher rating if our beef burgers didn't taste like fish instead of beef, I'm not sure how they were cooked but it had an after taste that wasn't pleasant.fries were great however and wrapped nicely. Nice service and the young server had a lovely manner. Kind staff
