Restaurant Støvlen Syddjurs

Here is a balanced and constructive review that appears credible on Google Maps: We had lunch at Restaurant Støvlen and ordered a shooting star and a burger. The shooting star is described on the menu as a new interpretation, but in my opinion it has been interpreted so much that it no longer resembles a classic shooting star. It felt more like a fish dish or lunch platter than what you normally expect when ordering a shooting star. The burger was made from good ingredients, but the steak, which according to the menu should be rare, was unfortunately cooked through. The quality of the ingredients was not wrong, and that adds to the experience. On the other hand, I don't think that the price and quality are completely related. The food was excellent, but overall the prices seemed a bit too high in relation to what we were served.

A lovely restaurant with an inviting courtyard for outdoor dining, run by two brothers who combine young and creative ideas with classic Danish cuisine. We had a very nice evening here.

Great place Old building, with high steps.

Six of us had dinner two nights ago. The building is charming. The older and local members of our group remembered when the building housed a cobbler. Today you cannot tell. The interior is impeccable, while still presenting as a building of its age. Service was perfect, and the food was excellent. Four of us got the fish of the day, which was a type of cod. Cooked perfectly and served with asparagus and potatoes. We will return when next in Ebeltoft.

Great Neo Danish food experience.

We dined at this beautiful restaurant last night. The ambiance is truly lovely. The restaurant is run by two brothers, both chefs. The food was fantastic. We shared a mixed fish platter as a starter, followed by fish as our main course. The perfect wine pairing was recommended for each course. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Making a reservation is advisable.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Ebeltoft. My boyfriend (Danish) and I decided to try the five-course tasting menu. We were extremely satisfied! The food was high quality. Everything was perfectly cooked and carefully plated. The waitress presented the dishes as they went. I really appreciated that, as a foreigner, she presented everything in English (thus saving my boyfriend the trouble of translating and allowing me to be part of the experience). I'm satisfied and will definitely be back.

Cozy restaurant with a small but very nice menu. The tartare is exceptionally good. However, we had to wait a bit too long for the main courses, which is why I can’t give Støvlen 5 stars. The prices are also slightly on the high side.
