I came here for a technical visit and the staff were incredibly kind — not only welcoming, but also offered me a fantastic sushi meal even though I wasn’t a regular customer.
The food was truly impressive. The nigiri with fresh shrimp was delicious — the shrimp tasted very fresh and naturally sweet. I also loved the sushi rolls with fried shrimp inside; they were surprisingly light and well-balanced, not greasy at all, and the saltiness was just right. The pairing with the other ingredients made the flavor really refreshing.
The presentation was beautiful too — every piece looked like it was made with care.
Huge thanks to the team — I’ll definitely come back as a customer next time. Highly recommended!

Delicious! The store is very beautiful, and you can feel that every dish is carefully prepared. The meat tastes very good, and the fried food is really delicious, especially the fried sweet potatoes. I like it. The drinks are also beautiful and delicious. I am happy🥹🤤🤤🤤

Had an amazing meal at Izumi! The sushi was fresh — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. What stood out even more were the variety of Japanese izakaya-style small dishes. So unique and full of flavor — unlike anything I’ve had at other Japanese restaurants in Copenhagen. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine!

Olivia deserves a raise💕 We had to catch a comedy show and were a bit busy, so Olivia made sure our food was a priority and we made it to the show just in time and with really good food in our stomachs😋❤️

We booked a 'last service' table on a Sunday night for 5, so the most annoying kind of table for servers😅, and also changed our minds from a la carte to ad libitum without any problem from staff🙏. We were kindly told we have 20 minutes to order before last call, where we ofc ordered too much sushi. We had a great time, and in the end, they bagged up the remaining sushi for us which was greatly appreciated. They also kindly let us know to pay so they could do the bills, and that we had to get out bec we had WAY over stayed our welcome, but they all did it with kindness and smiles which is A LOT for a loud table + too much sushi, so thank you so much for being beyond accommodating, and keeping us right firmly but still politely. Will be back obvs.
The price is absolutely right for Danish standards. Great sushi & other dishes at the All You Can Eat rate. We left around 45 euros per person with two large drinks. Operation and service very nice!
