Nuestro camarero era increíble, nos habló a través de los platos y nos hizo algunas recomendaciones geniales e incluso nos dio una selección de sake para probar. Él era muy conocedor del menú de comida y bebidas. La comida salió a una buena velocidad en diferentes momentos para que no nos agobiara. Un poco en el lado caro, pero definitivamente vale la pena!

JAH is a fantastic Japanese izakaya and sake bar in Copenhagen - without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I've had in the city in a long time. The food was authentic and well prepared, and the many small servings created a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The price is on the high end, but this is reflected in both the quality and the experience. I visited the place on a Wednesday evening when it wasn't too busy. We sat in the dining bar, which was super cozy and gave an even more intimate and authentic experience. The waiters had time to provide an attentive and present service, which made the visit even better. I had a Nida Honke sake which was really delicious and their agedashi tofu was insane - one of the best I've tasted. A cool detail was also that the beer glass was frozen, so the beer was ice cold when served, which made the experience even more Japanese. All in all, it was without a doubt the best Japanese food I've had in Copenhagen and one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I will definitely come again!

Cofocos restauranter serverer altid spændende og inspirerende mad til en billig penge, men denne gang var oplevelsen ud over det forventede. Vi bestilte deres OMAKASE Tasting Menu og den er ALLE pengene værd. Alle retter var lækre og meget indbydende, med masser af smag, men vil dog nævne Suzuki no Yushimo (rå havbars med chirizu) og Tori no Karaage (fritteret dansk frillandskylling) som nogle der slog benene væk under os. Alt i alt et sted man bare skal komme tilbage til.

To start with, I would say that nothing was really bad.. but it wasn't because it was anything special either. After reading the reviews, expectations were also quite high, especially considering the prices.. The service was okay but nothing special. I probably expect a bit that when you have ~10-15 dishes and a sake menu. That you, as a servant, know them a bit on the back and can at least come up with some explanations/descriptions. we ordered edamame, rice, gyoza, potato salad, crab croquettes, karage, tonkatsu.. It was all a bit blah and boring. The edma lacked salt, the gyoza was good. The potato salad had half a smoked egg on it, which was a super delicious experience. The potato salad itself was a bit blah. The croquettes had a nice taste, but were nothing terribly special. (Crab in a bechamel sauce-like thing) The karagen (deep-fried chicken) was slightly tasteless, but of course with good Japanese mayo. The tonkatsu was beef breaded and fried with dipping sauce, There was a nice umami taste, but for the price of 220 kroner for max~100g of beef inner thigh which is breaded and fried with a little bit of shredded cabbage. I simply expect better.. both a better cut and a better execution. As I said, nothing was bad, and if the price had been a little more moderate (~800kr for what can best be described as 5 starters) Then I would have also recommended it for what it is, but at those prices versus quantity. Should it play and be good. . As an izakaya to get some beer or sake and the food is in second priority, it is good and atmospheric.

If you are into Japanese food and Sake, then this is a really good option for a good restaurant. Present and polite service, with a detailed description of the food and Sake. The restaurant is located very centrally in Copenhagen, about 5 minutes walk from the main station. The food was super tasty, and each new dish provided special taste experiences. We tried a menu with 10 different small dishes, served with 3 different types of Sake, and we were all very full and satisfied with both the food and the restaurant experience when we left after 2 hours. Note. you have the table for 2 hours, then it is given to a new group of guests.

They have delicious rice and sashimi. But it's very expensive. Even in countries next to the sea, the quantities are extremely small. That’s a long wait time 🙂‍↕️

Really nice sharing options, super nice service that was happy to explain everything for a Sake beginner. Rare find in terms of good music but with such good sound system that we were still able to follow and have a conversation easily. I will recommend the place to friends and family
