Jakobs Frederikshavn

Jakobs Café is always our first stop when we vacation in Denmark. The café is truly tastefully decorated, especially the lighting. There's also a small gas fireplace where you can warm up during the cold winter months. The food and drinks are very diverse. There are plenty of draft and bottled beers, cocktails, etc. The menu ranges from breakfast to burgers and fries. Everything is delicious. The prices here are a bit high, but the place simply has its charm, making it well worth the price.

We had a wonderful stay at Café & Bar Jakobs in the heart of Skagen! The food was truly delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was very attentive and courteous, without being intrusive. We sat inside and immediately felt at home in the chic, cozy ambiance. We could still observe the hustle and bustle of the town through the large windows. No reservation was necessary in the afternoon, which was very convenient. A highly recommended restaurant :)

Skagen has a variety of very nice, appealing restaurants for every occasion and budget. We chose this one for a late breakfast/brunch. If you want breakfast, you must order before 12:00! Otherwise, there's nothing left. I ended up having fish soup, which was truly delicious. Served in a very hot cast-iron pot and easily enough for two!

Excellent and professional service. The lunch menu is quite modest but the food is good and there is something for everyone. They were also able to serve a gluten-free burger where the bun was very delicious. Mrs. Winckelmann's burger was quite delicious and rose above the standard level
