Fully halal restaurant, delicious food. We ordered Ahmet kebab and a kebab box. Both were delicious and freshly made. Recommend it plus plus. Offered us Turkish tea too.

Never written a review before, but this service demands it. I went to order takeaway, but when I got home I discovered that part of my order was missing. I called and the nice employee offered me a refund, as well as having new food delivered via Wolt. Thank you for that, and thank you for the food 🙏🏼❤️

Absolutely OK+ food. Nice to eat until you're full, but a bit disappointing flavors. Expected more. Waiter brought bread and said more would come, nothing more came.

A taste of Turkey in the middle of Aalborg – Istanbul Kebab does not disappoint If you are in Aalborg and love real Turkish food with lots of flavor, then you almost have to pass by Istanbul Kebab. I actually regretted passing by the place the first day I was in Aalborg – because I could easily have eaten here several days in a row. That’s how good the Turkish food at Istanbul Kebab was. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by large, beautiful premises, a relaxed atmosphere and the smell of freshly grilled food and spices. The restaurant appears clean, modern and inviting, and the staff were friendly, smiling and down to earth throughout. You could clearly feel that they were proud of what they made and served. The food tasted of something. Not just “quick kebab”, but real Turkish food made with love, good ingredients and lots of flavor. You almost sit and dream back to Turkey with every bite. I ordered Iskender Kebab – kebab served on toasted Turkish flatbread with homemade tomato sauce, melted butter, rice and yogurt. It was sitting right in the cupboard. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the combination of the warm sauce, melted butter and crispy bread really gave the classic Turkish comfort food feeling. In addition, I got a Turkish pizza / Lahmacun with minced beef and vegetables, served with fresh salad and lemon. It was crispy, fresh and full of flavor – just like a good Turkish pizza should be. As an extra positive surprise, fresh Turkish bread also came to the table along with hummus, tzatziki and a flavorful Turkish meze with chopped vegetables and spices. Simple, but really delicious and full of authenticity. It was all washed down with an ice-cold cola, and I left feeling more than full and very happy – ready to just roll back to the hotel afterwards. You can clearly taste that the food is prepared with respect for Turkish cuisine. Several of the dishes are made over a real charcoal grill, which gives just the right depth, heat and authentic grill flavor, which really elevates the whole experience. The food came quickly and exactly as ordered, the prices were very reasonable, and the whole experience was just perfect from start to finish. This is without a doubt one of the best Turkish food experiences I've had in Aalborg - indeed in all of North Jutland. Really good food. Thank you for this time - I'll definitely come again. Next time with the whole family under my arm

Very happy with this place! The cafe has a nice and cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay there for a long time and come back again. The staff is friendly and attentive, and everything is clean and nice. The food was absolutely amazing! The dishes were fresh, beautifully presented and made with care. We are left with only good impressions and will gladly return 😊

On every holiday in this area – and this is our third time here in 2025 and 2026 – we have enjoyed various dishes. Everything is fresh, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
