Fantastic food in a wonderful ambience. Service top notch and the food is always amazing. We had lunch and happy about the lunch menu being smaller portions. It has always been a fantastic experience eating in this lovely restaurant.

We came 3 people and had a fantastic dining experience. Sublime fritters, fantastic food made from scratch and personal service.
We got crab salad, clams, fish'n'chips and a cheeseburger. Everything in a special class and you can really taste that the food is good! The wine they served went well with the food. And we also got a cup of coffee at the end.
Great value for money, definitely worth more than you pay.
Jellyfish in Helsingør is clearly one of the best restaurants in the city. Well-deserved place on tripadvisor and Google in the top 5.

What a treat! Just perfect. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the lovely service, today's lunch was wonderful. Came here with my Mom during a day trip from Cph. We both had fish and chips - fish was super fresh and flaky, delicious batter. Chips were chunky and excellent. Loved the tartar sauce it came with and the mushy peas (!) were spot on. They even had proper malt vinegar. If you're craving some real fish and chips then this is the place! The warmth and friendliness of the owner was just delightful and I will be coming back for more soon! Oh, last but not least, the facilities were spotless.

Tolles Essen, guter Service. Klare Empfehlung!

Mixed reviews from large group of 11.
We were looking forward to experiencing our meal in the new premises. We were impressed by the high scoring reviews and this restaurant had been personally recommended to us as the best restaurant in town by someone who knew the area. The restaurant is excellently located, has a lovely courtyard at back, seating in the front as well as good indoor seating.
The crab salad and prawn starters were delicious.
Wasn’t sure whether the warm French bread was meant to be with the starter or main as it arrived after we’d eaten the starters but before the main. Poke bowl, the mussels &
fish & chips dishes were lovely.
The paella was not to everyone’s taste but the rose sangria that comes with it was absolutely delightful! The mixed views on the paella may have depended on what was put on your plate. Each had a langoustine and 1 large prawn - very tasty. No finger bowls though. A couple of us didn’t have any chicken on the bone in their paella, those that did said it was lovely and tender. Very sparse on the mussels. Lots of pork fat which at first sight thought may have been squid. It was surprisingly tasteless. Pork meat was cremated and gristley. If there was any paprika or saffron in the dish you couldn’t taste it.
No chorizo but that may be a Spanish regional preference. No snails for those who like that version.
Was a 50:50 split on whether the paella was good but all said it wasn’t worth the money and they had had better traditional Spanish paella in Spain. (Not tourist joints I hasten to add - as overheard the chef dismissing our mixed views saying it was because we were used to eating tourist paella). Our group are well seasoned travellers who generally like to avoid mass produced food and tourist joints.
The service was appallingly slow we didn’t get a drink for at least 45 minutes and starters took 1 hour 20 to come out. We felt forgotten by staff, had to prompt to order more drinks, find blankets for ourselves when it got cold. Felt sorry for the owner who was training up new staff and obviously didn’t have time to properly oversee everything.
Would not visit again.

Just ate at Jellyfish in Elsinore for the first time. Among the many places to eat in the city, Jellyfish is ABSOLUTELY worth a visit. At the outset I would say great value for money in every way. The place is comfortably furnished and with a very personal touch. The service is personal and friendly with plenty of time for an individual chat and comment to the guests. You feel welcome to that extent. The menu card is a bit sparse, but there is something for every taste. But there is always something hidden - if you ask - ask the waiter. The house is full of surprises. We started with oysters and then had fried sea bream with fennel. Super delicious and very tasty. The wine list, like the menu, is very simple, but there is what should be and at reasonable prices. All in all, a really good experience in authentic surroundings with strong personal service. Definitely recommendable and worth a visit.

Visited in August 2024. Since the weather was good, we chose to sit in the inner courtyard, which is quite nice. The owner explained the dishes nicely and we ordered poke bowls and drinks. I got the supercharged poke bowl, which includes sriracha, fried garlic and Japanese mayo, additions I was very glad for. The poke bowl toppings were tasty and the fish was fresh. The rice however was the wrong type for poke bowls, which made the dish overall a bit disappointing. Our drink order was forgotten, so we only got our drinks after asking for them again when we received our food. Finally, I personally think the price of the food is very high, especially in relation to the portion size (275 kr for the poke bowl).
