The food was quite nice. It was a steak, potato slices and whiskey sauce. A basic steak and I would recommend not buying the small one of the cheap ones. It is not particularly big. But of course tastes good anyway. I think it is quite expensive for what it is, but I like the food, and will probably come again.

The restaurant has several eating areas and I was put in the window of a large room with no other customers so service was slow. The steak came in two sizes and I ordered the large size which looked the small size on the plate . The side was a hot dish of mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon which was very tasty and filling but very sloppy on the fork. The steak was well seasoned but a little overcooked for a rare steak but tasted ok.

11/09/2025: You can clearly see that Jensen's is struggling, unfortunately. The restaurant was almost empty. Despite that, it took a very long time for the food to arrive. We had ordered ad libitum potatoes and gravy, and it took a very long time for the extras to arrive, despite the almost empty restaurant. The staff has always been an absolute pleasure at Jensen's and this time was no exception. They are always so nice and accommodating. It's wonderful! Because of the nice staff I give 4 stars. Otherwise it would have been 1's.
23/08/2025: It seemed that Jensens Bøfhus' heyday was over. Small portions of food and the salad bar was nothing to shout about, not as varied and exciting as before.

02/10/2025: Can highly recommend! Service was amazing, the meat cooked to perfection, and the interior sets the perfect scene!

The steaks were exactly as they should be – juicy and perfectly cooked. The side dishes were really delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and it just gave a super nice atmosphere the whole evening. You really feel like they're making an effort here. I'm already looking forward to the next time.”
