Jægerhuset Mariagerfjord

A charming, rustic restaurant. The menu is small, but the food is high quality. Everything is truly fresh and delicious. Served with great care and attention to detail. Service is quick. The outdoor area is very natural, and Sofie, the owners' dog, is happy to greet every guest. This place is something truly special! (It's best to call ahead and make a reservation.)

Two older ladies run the place and are incredibly nice and helpful! A 50-minute wait for the food is just about acceptable. The kids had half a chicken with fries and were satisfied. The witch's stew and schnitzel were tasty, but the frozen peas as a side dish and the small portions were a bit disappointing... Don't expect German hygiene standards here...

Incredibly beautiful and delicious. Thank you 😘

Warm, family-friendly atmosphere, excellent food

This beautiful guesthouse is truly lovely, with a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome and are greeted warmly and kindly by the two ladies, their parrot, and their dog, Sophie. The Jaegehuset (guesthouse) is like a museum, truly worth seeing and unique. A lovely, large terrace with many beautiful flowers and trees invites you to linger. I can only recommend that everyone visit; it's really worth it. The owner speaks Danish, English, and German. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, and all the best from Veronika and Heidi. The house is located on the main road from Als Odde.

A very cozy place with space for about 20. Good food at very reasonable prices.
