Restaurant Jägerhytte is located in a park/forest, with deer roaming freely close to the house. A large restaurant with a large terrace, you have to book a table, because the place is extremely popular, if you don't have a table reservation, then there is only the terrace, but in the sunshine, it is incredibly beautiful.
The menu has many dishes of game meat, if you don't feel like fish and pizza, then this is the place, and it is delicious.
The service is with adult women and men who know what they are doing, super nice service.
There is a reasonable selection of wine, and at affordable prices, the food is also at reasonable prices, it is not standard meat, but absolutely ok for the prices.
There is a nice backyard with a playground for the children, which was also used extensively, waiting for the food can be a problem for the children, so a really nice solution.
We can only recommend the place, it is cozy, good atmosphere and good food, and there is room for the dog on the terrace.

Nice food, nice place and sweet waitor, though a bit inexperienced. Never had a waiter complaining that we didnt order the same dessert and saying to us, that she didnt like to tell the chef that we wanted different desserts, so we got the desserts in different time even it seems like they came straight from the fridge. Also the coffee couldnt come with the desserts or it did first arrive after we we have eaten our desserts. It seems like the place were understaffed both in the kitchen and in numbers of waitors.

We visited Jægerhuset on a beautiful summer day. Couldn't have been a more fantastic and romantic setting. Beautiful garden and lake view.
Food was delicious and homemade from the bottom. Service was kind, observant, and helpful.

Helt perfekt frokost Skærtorsdag! Dejlig stemning i restauranten, super lækker frokostanretning med det lækreste brød, fint udvalg af både øl og snaps og ikke mindst FANTASTISK service fra hele personalet lige fra start til slut. Vi var alle 4 meget tilfredse og glæder os til vores næste besøg.
