Very cozy place. Good space for chatting and having fun. Welcoming and friendly staff. Delicious food.

A pretty good experience overall. The interior was lovely, and the service was good. The food was solid, nothing spectacular, but definitely well above average for a typical hotel restaurant.

We ordered the menu. The food tasted great. However, I think the Tiramisu was dry and there was too much whipped cream, a little more spongy could be delicious

Overall a good experience, but in a group there shouldn't be a 10 minute difference between when the main course arrives for each person. This is a lack of planning in the kitchen.

Lovely place, small and calm atmosphere. Menu was small but the food was very good. I had the monkfish - nice taste of the sea and Danish cuisine.

Joanne's was very busy and we had long waits for service which wasn't great but our server was very nice when she finally arrived. We picked the restaurant because 2 of our party were doing the half marathon the next day and they needed pasta and the reviews suggested excellent pasta. We were also staying at the hotel so very convenient for an early dinner. There was only one choice of pasta which was a vegetarian option. This lack of choice was very disappointing but when it arrived it was ok though not great or as described (spaghetti not tagliatelle). We didn't really have a choice so 3 had pasta and one the veal (very grey looking but my friend said edible). Perhaps on a different evening we would have enjoyed Joanne's more and its partly our fault for not doing better research. The reviews implied we would have much more choice. For us it ended up being a much later meal than we wanted because of service delays and ironically the highlight was the focaccia bread which was delicious. The hotel knew they were full of runners and in my view should have thought ahead and arranged at least one other pasta option. All around us were other disappointed runners eating the only pasta available.

Service excellence food tasty and cooked to our requirements we probably felt a bit overpriced considering the venue . No cheaper options for wine although waitress offered us a wine at a heavily discounted price which was excellent

Wonderful lunch at Joannes, who impressed with his delicious foccacia, well-cooked beef fillet and exquisite service.
