No normal breakfast bread, just sourdough buns

Really delicious bread and cakes!!! We just went in and had a few buns, and ended up with several types of pastries, cake, buns and coffee, and it was so tasty. Highly recommended.

Fantastic bread and cake that we locals appreciate, and that tourists explore. The girls at the checkout are always happy and welcoming. I think all those who write bad reviews especially about the bread have just been unlucky and got one of the either mildly undercooked or mildly overbaked breads, which are hard to avoid since it is sourdough bread. I can definitely recommend the fruit cakes, the birkesne and their good creamy coffee. Many tourists also complain about the small selection, which I can't understand, it's a small bakery that is not located in the most tourist-trafficked place on Bornholm, and to avoid food waste, there are of course not 30 different options, and if you come 1 hour before they close you can't expect it to be filled with cake and bread.

Bornholm's best bread and spandauers. That said, the bakery would hardly have survived long in Copenhagen. The bread tastes fantastic, but could have been baked for a few more minutes. All the cakes – except for the rhubarb spandauer – are a bit bland. I like the idea of a small selection, but then it also has to sit right in the cupboard with every single item.

Virkelig lækkert brød og fremragende kage og morgenbrød. Købte et surdejsbrød til aftenkaffen og endte med at spise så meget, vi ikke havde noget tilbage til morgenmad. Virkelig lækkert!
