Amazing. I can have this for breakfast everyday ❤️
Huge hype means huge line as well. The line moved quick enough so after 20 minutes we were inside where we could see the magic happening live. They were making pastries behind a large window. I was surprised by the amount of different pastries, I would have expected a bit more variety. But the options to choose from were great so don’t worry. We choose several pastries. Since there’s no place to sit inside we took our pastries outside. There is a small garden with some tables and chairs, but sitting there with so many birds trying to take a bite of my pastry….. so we moved a bit furter where’s a small bench en enjoyed our goodies.

Definitely one of the best cardamom buns in CPH. Worth the trek out to this neighborhood if you’re staying close to the center. Highly recco the lemon loaf too!!

Juno the Bakery is probably one of the most famous bakeries in Copenhagen, so expect a long line. The good news is that the queue is managed really well, so it moves much faster than it looks. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and kept everything running smoothly despite how busy the bakery was.
We tried several of their most popular pastries, and everything was fresh and well-made. The quality is definitely there, and it’s easy to see why the bakery has built such a strong reputation. That said, while everything tasted good, nothing completely blew me away.
Still, I’m glad we came. Some places are worth visiting simply because they’re part of the city’s food scene, and Juno is one of them. If you’re curious about Copenhagen’s bakery culture, it’s absolutely worth trying at least once.

Food is super yummy, and friendly and fast service, but unfortunately not much seating for the amount of people ordering. For the price point I would love to enjoy it there.

Everything tasted excellent. We had cardamom swirls, a brioche, and a vanilla swirl. The pastry was the highlight. There is a queue, but it moves quickly. The staff is very friendly. There are some seats outside.

It was very busy so no tables available but the raspberry pastry that I bought to takeaway was incredible.

After trying Hart, Lille Bakery, and Andersen & Maillard in Copenhagen, we kept thinking, “How different could Juno really be?” But it genuinely stood out.
Everything we tried was excellent: the buttered multigrain bread with cheese, the almond pastry, the cardamom bun, the fastelavnsbolle filled with pastry cream and strawberry jam, and the almond croissant.
The cream inside the fastelavnsbolle was incredibly light, but it was a bit too creamy for my taste. I actually preferred the version topped with cream instead.
My favorite was the buttered multigrain bread with cheese. The cardamom bun came in second.
It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re in Copenhagen. We paid 243 DKK for five pastries and one coffee.
