Kalvø Badehotel Restaurant Aabenraa

Had booked a table for 4 on a sunny Saturday, which was also necessary, the place is situated beautifully down to Genner Bugt, with a lovely view over the water. Got a nice reception from a fresh young guy, we ordered food and drinks fairly quickly, it was the house wine, a rosé from Portugal, tasted quite good, then 2 x Kalvøstjernen, the biggest and most beautiful shooting star I've seen to date, then a Woodpecker burger, burger with fish fillet, and finally a Kalvø burger with 1 steak and fries, All the dishes looked fantastic, they were tasty to the last mouthful, and there was simply no more to put down, even if the eyes could handle more. It's not the first time we've been, and it's certainly not the last time either, it was top class of a lunch.

We ordered the veal steak, but the meat was gray and didn't taste good, so the waiter was kind enough to give us a shooting star instead. On the other hand, it was super good, and there was plenty. The service was top notch.
